Mid 6", 6.5" component set

what a good brand for 6" or 6.5" mid bass component set with price below RM280...

Price below rm280 is very hard to find a good mid component.....Why don't u save up b4 buying a good mid component....just a piece of advise!!!

i went to eunos - 1u to test out JBL and the quality was good. but the price was RM330? not sure but around there. good sq for that price. the have cheaper <RM200 but roger's speaker. sound is ok. well better than broken speakers. give a try, they got a lot of speakers.

i have 2 power amp, 12" woofer, door speaker I want to install another set for back speaker (Satria car).....which one better 6" mid bass only or 6"component set(speaker, crossover &tweeter)....

first of all, do you guys know what or which sound character
you like? therefore, i suggest you guys go out for tt with some
of the "lao chiau" icers and listen out to their set up before
buying any speakers. tt with lao chiaus will definately shorten
your ice journey ALOT and when you look back later at this
thread, you will be laughing at yourselves for asking these
questions.

Everybody start from fresh...

I do know sound quality is very subjective. I'm quite into home hi-fi, so I do know a little bit about quality sound.

But no matter how subjective a person of the sound quality, there are some "standard " of sound quality.
I'm asking for a affordable brand : Boschmann . So of course I don't expect you to tell me how it sound as compared to other high end ice speakers. If I did that, it will really make me look stupid.

What I'm looking for is a beginner set into ice. I've seen some members here selling Boschmann at an extremely affordable price. So, my guest was, Boschmann quality may be the best if compared to other cap ayam brand.
That's the reason why I'm asking all these seems stupid question to you.

Any how, I presume you're a "lao Chiao" too. If this is the way a "lao Chiao" should response to a newbie naive question. No problem, I accept it.

i did not mean to mock at you guys. have you surf
other malaysian ice forums? there are a few. and
they actually announce whenever there is a tt. last
night there was one organized at kuchai lama. big
crowd and around 20 sifus showed up.

as a home hifier, you should know better. and you
should know what to expect from the price tag. both
car and home hifi apply the same pricipal.

fyi, i am no lao chiau. but common sense tell me to
listen to more brands before decide to spend on a
set of speakers that i will used for a while. b'cos up
grading is really a waste of money. i must say that
i have learnt alot and met some very friendly gurus
at these tt.

if you like, you can pm me your mobile number so that
i can send a sms to you whenever there is a small meet
with one or two of the ice gurus. or whenever there is
a tt organized by other forums.

meanwhile, i suggest you hold on to your cash. the longer
you tahan, there better a beginer set will come your way.

Original or Fake?

Hi built and other sifus,


Some one just PM me from another column, claiming he's the distributor, offer me "original" new http://www.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/2007-01DSale4164497.htm http://www.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/2007-01DSale4164497.htm for only Rm 450!
He claim it's original, has warranty, new, and price cheap is because he's a distributor.

I don't know what's the market price now... But I think there's lots of fake DLS R6A in the market, right?

How to know for sure it's original or fake? I heard now a days, the fake one even some ice salesman and accessories owners can't tell just from the look. The fake one also come with "warranty card", serial number, etc.. just like the original one,... until you install and listen to it you'll realise it's fake!
