This is a rare species indeed. My uncle in Ipoh used to own one till he sold it about 8 years ago.

My dad used to own a Mazda 1000 pick up circa 1982. It's basically a Mazda 100 saloon with the parts after the B-pillars chopped off and a flat bed fitted.

Nowadays it's quite difficult to find one in good working condition.

However, Mr Ah Kee of Tai Soon Tyres in Sri Gombak still runs his Mazda 1000 pick up to run errands for the shop. You can call him at 012-2996838.
