Got a few strong magnets and stuck it onto the air pipe between the AFM and the throttle body.

In theory, it's supposed to polarise the air molecules entering the combustion chamber and mixes better with the petrol molecules.

I wasn't expecting any results from the 'experiment' but i was surprised the next day when I felt the engine have better response between 2000rpm to 4000rpm. The power comes earlier and smoother.

I guess it worked... As for fuel consumption, will report on that in a couple more week's time after the DME got used to it. If history repeat itself, the fuel consumption drop everytime I fiddle with something which improved the power delivery and then slowly it goes back to normal without losing the power.

easier for u coz u r using steel ram pipe. cannot with me coz i'm using stended pu ram pipe. so how? any suggestion?..tq

actually steel pipe or not makes no difference, cos the magnets wont stick to the stainless steel pipe I had, it's secured onto the pipe with the aluminum foil tape which u can get from the hardware shop.

the magnets I got from my fren who used to work in a factory producing magnets. but he no longer working there.
Got them for free.

Fabian,

Did u put them in any particular polarity?

1 pair on both side. opposite polarity.
to make it less confusing.
let's say there's 2 magnets stuck together, split it and the spcae in between would be the air ram. remember opposite attracts...

muz b pair ahh?

hav to think now where to put it on my carbie....

any magnets oso can as long as the size is right and the magnet got North and South polarities.

Small and strong magnets are easy to work with...

I got air ram for my carb, but i haven't install air twister to my ram yet. The magnet still attached with the pc fan, i just hope it have the same result  .
Or else i need to find some more hard disk magnet loh.... :P

fabianyee had said the theory in the 1st post.

hey dude wat tape did u use to stick de magnet onto de rampipe???

I used aluminum foil tape, can get from most hardware store...

And for everyone attempting this, please secure the magnets properly. It wouldn't be good to have to magnets falling off and get into the belting system... May cause damges if that ever happen... Don't say I didn't warn u.. ;)

Maybe you can try to use the magnet in the hard disc.... Use that magnet for putting at my oil filter also... and i really saw got some oil particle accumulate on that place.... maybe not true also...haha....

but anyway the hard disc magnet its really powerful than the normal one...
