Yo... every senior in mloc...I hope to join in mloc after i get my car!!! So i need help of all senior on this... i wanted to buy a lancer456 or evo 45... but not sure the price on 2nd hand value,can anyone tell the price and anyone know where to look for a gd car? thanks...
and currently i got a fren own a evo4 wanna sell 70+k but izit too expensive! Some of my fren say is a bit expensive le....
give some coment plz...

Do u mind a converted Evo456??? Of cause v r talking abt good conversion Evo456 here... Lately there r lotsa Evo456 on M.Trader, perhaps u can try to look ard from there...

Besides, is ur fren E4 converted or ori E4??? Both r at different pricing!!!

Hi James7338,

Welcome to the forum. As mentioned, your budget would be of great help for those whose trying to give suggestion/advice.

My only comment is that the current Loan market for used cars is really really tight (if not, bad and discouraging). Meaning banks are not willing to loan out high for used cars and if it's going to be a Evos or Lancers (considered high depreciation cars la..compared to locals national cars or AFTA cars), it's going to be even worse. This is one of the main reason why used cars prices are sky falling somehow !

So you need to be prepared to fork out high % of downpayment. I would say anything close to 20-25% at least even for an ori e5 or e6.

Thanks for...all senior replied,i ll keep stay in this forum...Actually my budget for own my car is monthly 1k+... I have bout 20 k for my downpayment,so i guess is not a problem... actually i prefer converted evo...my fren that e4 is ori Evo4 not converted 1! and currently i got another offer converted evo5 was selling at 56k... i m the third owner,if i buy it! This converted lancer come wit full evo5 body kits, interior also evo5 only the seat is sparco seat, 17'oz rims wit 235/45 G3 tires 80%, no sound sistem but only got a cd player, 2 Bf meter, timer,rsm and wit viper alam sistem.... so does it worth? i plan to get this car... No serious accident b4... from this car i know that this owner was a car lover,he keep this car in preety gd condition...

It is depent on what are you looking for.Ori or not ori to me is personel thing.To me if the car in good condition plus you like with it,go for it man..Difference people got difference taste..cheers

Mr Ealt... thanks for idea...erm yes i guess so... but how if u were me which 1 u ll choose? ori evo4 rm70+ k,or full converted evo5 rm56k(year97/00)? which 1 u prefer? and converted 1 and ori evo got wat different?
Soli forget to mention that the converted evo 5 had already convert to 4wd...

If me of coz go for the cheap one..hehhe plus the car must in good condition plus road legal one.As I know, lancer that convert to 4wd is a illegal due to chassis strenghten...But if you really wanta good and ori evo, go for the evo4...Once again,me will choose a converted one due to installment issues....that what i said before, difference people got difference tasted....

As the converted evo will never beat the ori one...

Do not give me wrong to all lancer converted here coz me also a converted evo...cheers

Yep, most important is to get a car tht suit ur budget... But de main thing here is de 4WD convertion made legalize??? Cos u dun wanna de JPJ to block n saman u everytime...

Besides, u got to make sure how de convertion of de Lancer did... Its ok to hv a convertion Evo as in our club there r many members having it... But de most important issue is de previous owner did it de right way.... Or he jus convert de engine n interior tht's all??? Any chasis strengthening??? Cos a normal Lancer chasis cant stand de Evo power of pull force... It wil causes de ori chasis to tear up at de weakest points...

erm but i can know the car are in clean and gd condition la... the previous owner just like the outlook of the car and he buy... i m the 5 owner already...is the 3rd owner mod 1...so is in year 2001 4wd and 2.0 already approve by jpj... i saw the register card it really show that convert 4g63 cp9a 4wd... maybe tat time easy to approve la so, i also confuse now... just wan check out izzit 56k is cheap or expensive,if in gd condition?

for me, i'll go for the ori. Simply it's made and designed for the engine and the power output. Converted ones are a bit less tolerant to the pressure. Turst me... I got a converted putra with GSR engine...

As for your loan, you might get max 60K for E4. That's what i got for mine. that meand u need to pay abt 1+K for your dwn payment.. installment will be in the RM1,1++.00.

i just bought a lancer & just converted to E4 + 4wd.
same goes to me.
i do buy lancer simply bcoz, installment punya pasal.
the 4wd runs fine, still waitin for green light from puspakom people (register).

got money ?, go for the best.. ori evo la.
the price for the converted evo u mention is quite cheap.. :regular_smile:

Erm... I think wat u guy say is rite... beside all my fren beside also say this... prefer ori evo... I should think bout it 1st! But so far thats the only lancer converted i mention which attrack me so much (price and the mod)... Anyway thanks for advise...
