Hi, need your feedbacks on this. Since i seen that a new Kenari RS coming out next month, i can't decide which car to get. Both car in the same price range. But i love the RS version of Kenari. I love Myvi too but after i took a few spin in a friend's car, it really disappoint me. Just don't feel right and not up to my expextation. Also considering the re-sale value as Kanari is quite an old model d. Can anyone advice>?

bro, if i m you, i will get a converted kenari and convert the bodykit to RS one...so u will have the budget to play wit the car.....if u wan to go for performance, u can even get some kenari that had undergo engine conversion to L9 660cc turbo (4cyl) or even K3-vet (yrv turbo 1.3 l DVVT 4 cyl) engine....

thanks bro, you've got a cool ride there. but i am going 4 long term drive, so buy a new car is better choice 4 me. :)

long term its definately Myvi, the Kenari is an outgoing model already. but what are your priorities? the Myvi beats the Kenari in terms of space and safety. Styling is subjective. a TRD bodykit on the Myvi would be sweeter than the Move RS by a mile in my personal opinion.

sorry as I don't see the feasibility in buying a dated model when you have the option of buying the latest model...by the same manufacturer.

myvi..obvious body roll, body too big for 1.3 engine thus the "pick up" is a bit lembap...and makes it thirstier on fuel. styling, my personal opinion, looks like a sweet little girl wearing a skirt!
if u have the budget, trd or passo bodykit will shove away the girly looks...but if u plan to buy and not do anything, RS is better.

some more...a few customers complaining about the short-lived rear axle...and snapped quite easily...donno how true...

driven both cars and owned a kenari (my wife's). 4 sweet years. no major trouble. good fuel consumption. very reliable. angkut all sorts of things u can imagine...mineral water(small bottle, max i've loaded up to 13 cartons of 24..), beras, baja, soil, slabs for landscaping...very responsive throttle, smoked most cars on traffic light!because of small tyres + twin cam engine, pick up is very good. revved up to redline..no problem...

the only thing that i've changed is the springs, thus lowered the car a bit, coz it is such a tall car.

the slip road coming to ss19 subang from federal highway, a nice curve...max i dare to enter is 110km/h, on 4th gear...to me, more than enuff already...

oh yes...the brake pump (rear) went off recently...after 4 years. other than that, just smile all the way....

myvi ...
i drive both, the look of Kenari Rs is better and L9 is much more power but Myvi more comfort and higher value ....

yea i agree with u guys...for a family car or if u like TRD passo kit...go for my vi...on comfort, sound proof, and space, myvi tapao kenari...but when it comes to slight performance mod...kenari will have a better performance, lighter car, smaller..and the chassis structure is different...

i admit that my kenari is old...but its still a car right?...and kenari's maintainance is very cheap, used to DIY at home....and parts are gettin cheap too...

Same here,I would advice you to get a Myvi, even if you feel that it's under powered once you get the hang of driving it and bored of it you can always change the engine to YRV :) It would be a powerful 1.3 turbo car =)

Myvi! leg room more, wider interior, better build, quiet, can fit 18inch blink blink rims, wanna mod bigger engine also no problems, wanna mod it VVIP also very chun,no vibration problems like kenari 3 cylinder, handling better than kenari, choices of tyres is 10 times more than kenari, even upgrading of brake system also more choice than kenari, very nice for ice setup, apa lagi.......................shall be continue when i can remember more point

Of ocurse the Myvi is a better choice. Build quality, leg room, comfort, modability (it looked more 'normal' than Kenari i suppose)

But look at RS... if the initial spec wasn't being stripped from what we see in KLIMS, then it had sunroof, retractable side mirrors, LCD screen, momo gearknob and steerings..... WOW !

- Don't plan to do any modification or cosmetic make up to the car.

- Myvi bodyroll very obvious, i feell dizzy sitting in the front passenger.

- Myvi look very girlish without TRD or Modellista bodykit.

- I also thought of handling, but since both is mini MPV, this part doesn't matter much to me. Never take a sharp coner in a Myvi/Kenari thinking your car is a Lotus or even a Proton Iswara.Lol.Cause anyone expect sporty performance in Myvi or Kenari, then I would rather get a Satria Neo 1.6. but that car FC very high. Just looking for a Cool looking,Convenient and Cost efficient car to drive around.

- Rear axle problems for Myvi? Is it that the shaft break off like the in the picture where Myvi used for drifting/racing?

- I bet within 3 years time, sure the petrol will be around RM 2.50/liter. So every bit of fuel saving counts for me cause i travel around 1500 km per month average.
I do not get any car/fuel allowance in my nature of job. And ppl like me who earn about RM 20k per annum will suffer most.

Althought my ride also kenari , but if i am u .. i'll choose for myvi... like zth mates say... Kenari Rs are quite outgoing model jor... later kenariRS come out.. for those who convert their kenari to Original Rs model... *donno wat their feelings??* nowadays oledi many kenari move rs.. later , will hav more and more lagi.... haha..
all the street also kenariRS soon!!:X-: :X-:

GO FOR MYVI!

btw, TOH SAN, i aldy voted for ur son! not bad ler, so far he got the HIGHEST RANK! HEHEHE

Hi, Fluffy, I am in a huge dilemma cause i also love both car. That's why i post here and ask all sifu's opinion. Btw, Evan Toh looks cheecky and mischievious. I bet he look like his dad. lol. I also vote d, now leading at 44% huhuhu........
