Kenari Aero ~ lowerd car

i just lowerd my car..1 finger at the front and 2 at the back..uisng T-Speed Sport Spring (purple one) and Improve Absorbers Gas Type. My ride ok..the bumpy is like original..the problem is at the back there a "tok-tok" sound. Dunno what cause it. I just went Balancing and Alignment the car, they have checked it non tyres reach fender under it. All semms ok. Check Spring/absorbers all pasang ok and betul. They said there maybe something in my back bonnet cause it. When i went home, ill reve all thing at the back and spair tyres also..still got this tok-tok sounds. give me haedache now..anyone have same problem like me before?

Im using Kenari Aero with 15 inch rims with toyo tyres 15/50/165

yo bro.. kenari is like that ler..
try n check the passenger door.. my also got this problem.. the door behind driver seat.. but after put sum oil on those joint part. become lesser.. maybe u can try it out..

the sounds not come from door, test before when i seat at the back..the sound come from the tyre..dunno which part. any idea guys?

15inch sure will tok tok..... go to do ur tyre look lik this / \ so won hit the fender again..

when u driving the presure push ur car more lower


UR RIM 15inch and 6 1/2?? if yes sure tok tok sound or sraaa sraaa

no no..im sure its not tyres fault. Even mechanic said nope. I didnt even seen a scratch sign on tyrs or inside the body when open the tyres. The tok-tok sound not generated my tyres hit fender..my fren said the spring fault? possible? maybe i need to gange the spring rubber on the top of the spring or addin more.

no no..im sure its not tyres fault. Even mechanic said nope. I didnt even seen a scratch sign on tyrs or inside the body when open the tyres. just put rubber pipe inside the spring so no more tok tok sound.......or use back the original absorbers rubber

neo taiko,i noe wats the problem..

u remember the black getah that is now coiled in ur sport spring?

that getah is quite high..and its function is to prevent the car from going too low when there is a heavy load. But since u had lowered it,its advisable to cut a portion of it..

u bend down and see..its a black plastic on the bottom of ur rear sport spring..

from wat u described,guess its that problem


next,it may be caused by the springs..maybe the wrapping will help abit..

that getah is quite high..and its function is to prevent the car from going too low when there is a heavy load. But since u had lowered it,its advisable to cut a portion of it..

the getah center of it? or getah hold the spring? btw my getah all still original one. Ya wrapping is my last choice. Maybe ill try tomolo. Wrap using what ah? hose pipe?

u go to hardware shop..
ask for gas piping...but dun wan those heavy duty wan..normal can liao

btw is not the wrapping getah...its the center wan...it looks like a rocket...can cut maybe 3 cm off would change ur situation,taiko...just my 2 cents

cut..at the back already cut.. :p front 1 finger only, back 2 finger. btw my car just new/out last friday...all have been mod yesterday (rims+tyres+spring+absorbers+tinted) damn..3 days new car already mod, thats what the mechanic says to me today... will post the result tomorrow.

opps..not the plastic..the springs i mean..already cut..the plastic..ill try tomolo. and wrap a bit the spring. Thanks..hope this solve mine..thanks very much guru

i think it's not the springs nor the rubber stopper. it's your abs settings.....

me just cut the rubber a bit..yet still have problem...the tok-tok sound still there..me dunno now..issit springs? some said need pelapik springs..rupper one :thumpdown

abs? what setting..im using Improve Gas Type, the box said (Kelisa/Kenari)..if yes..what i need to set?

anyway but our kenari rear abs is not adjustable le..can only choose gas or oil type...
