Kelisa Mod

dvvt head with the cam angle sensor and DVVT ECU... total cost around rm1500++ not including labour ...but quite hard to find la... last time in PJ got, the shop that has the storia rally car one...forgot the name..
however, power difference not so much la... a fren who drove a kelisa UK spec with DVVT say not much different lor...only fuel consumption is a bit better

so it means tat is not worth it la. how much bhp can we gain frm dvvt?
 
a few only...maybe around 5-6hp if ur lucky...better get ur self an SAFC and extractor...easy to install + u can get either similar or more hp...

wah stroker_kit so fast u reply! stroker_kit i know u sifu in k car. i wan 2 ask whether is there any big difference in extractor design? rite now i m using hotbits. thinking of changin 2 something else. i m not sure bout hotbits but the other 1 the length is definately tuned! any advise :D
 
other one as in what.....kelisa rapid extractor.????well hotbits one actually quite good already....

can SAFC work like variable valve timing control or DVVT? which is better and have more power and good fuel consumption?

canot, diff story..... :(

SAFC means super air fuel converter, canot control valves timing.....

DVVT sumthin like electrical(ECU) control adjustable pulley changing its valves duration......

kelisa engine = EJ-DE 54ps

myvi(new pro2 car) sirion / passo / storia engine = EJ-VE 60ps (market price hafcut 1.9k without labour)

diff: 6ps

i would suggested recipe as below:

SAFC
AFR(modi5 fuel return)
change L2 fuel pump
racing clutch(sum say got, sum say dun hav)
open pod filter with custom CAI
custom xhaust
13" sportrims

one of my fren dyno tested with 53hp onwheel, with stock internal.

ya wats the difference between ps n hp? i though is the same? :unsure:
stock hp? all different 1... wat perodua quote is 54hp on flywheel... some mayb lower n some may b higher... but i dun think will b higher :D

nope SAFC for Air / Fuel controlling only...that u need to buy VAFC... bt dunno can control DVVT or not... i think the function is to control when valve lift cams kick into action...

PS is "PferdStärke" and it is german meaning also for horse power

1 PS = 0.98632 HP

so many Japan cars like...EVO , Imprezas, Skylines, Supra also has only 280ps or around 276 BHP...

there is also many other measurements like KW or Kilowatt...but HP is the most general and widely used
 
but i tot VAFC cannot control dvvt?cos i tot it should be meant for Vtecs only...but i heard they said that it works better on dohc engines...
