... from wat i c the vids from gamespot.com .. the games look like nfsu2 .. with damage thats will be cool n .. the sound super damn cool can hear the kepishhhhh sound thehehe thats will be good

i just played juiced on pc, 2-3 days already bored...wait for the new need for speed most wanted, should be pretty good i hope

I installed the DVD version of this game. When I try to run the config, it says...
"must have directx 9c to be installed"
I have installed it but the message still comes out. Anybody can help?

you might have been fooled by windows into believing u have installed directx 9c, if it only took a few seconds to install it (about 5 secs) then directx was never installed...sum problem with the pirate version of winxp. i had to reinstall windows xp using another cd then only i could install directx properly...

or maybe u havent copied the crack file..

i hope i could be of help.

Well, directx didn't appear in the "add remove program" list. Don't tell me I've to reinstall the entire win xp again? Is there another way to go about it?

sometimes its like that one....i oso need to format my winxp....reinstalling them....originally xp came with directx 8 or something like that....after that i straight install dx9c.....cos once u terinstall the corrupt one...u cannot undo it...sucks like hell...now ok dy...

im sorry to say if this gonna offend any of u, but Juiced has all the candy but none of the real goodies. the graphics oh man, and the human character animation was woah.. i respect the amount of time they spent on the eye candy... but the moment i started playing a race, everything went down the drain. pls remember that im not in a condemning mood when i posted this. its honest comment on my personal experience.

***This is just me, u dont have to agree***
-driving physics worse than NFSU2
-in game audio not so realistic (i know i dont have 5.1 sound but, come on!)

i have nothing against the game system, respect system (like SRS) and everything coz it's every game maker's right. but then my comment doesnt count much since i got fed up right after the VERY FIRST race with T.K. i mean, im sorry if its my fault for not having the right hardware for the audio but the in game engine sound is like something straight out of Top Gear 2 for the Sega Megadrive 16bit. even the NOS sound and the ambient music was more audible than the engine roar. i didnt even hear a BOV.

on the up side, i give A++ to the opening animation. i still havent uninstalled the game so i promise to give it another go, and another, and another before i vent here again. :D

AE80TypeD,
Oh.. dang. I already bought the DVD. But it's got other games in it also.

And I think I manage to fix the directx 9c problem. I downloaded the Windows Service Pack 2, and reinstalled the Service Pack 2. Takes quite a while but after reboot and all that shit, I run dxdiag.exe again. Checked it, it was already DirectX 9C. Yeah. Now to reinstall that damn game again. haha

the PS2's version of the game... the gameplay is dissapointin..
especially when the eyecandy like AE80 mentioned..is so impressive.
Plus after so many of this type of game outside.. sigh..
Maybe the developer intended it this way.. trying out a different approach..
but to me.. it has failed..
i juz dun like it..
