JRD rim

any forummer have any comment about RIM produce by JRD?
I just found out that JRD RIM is produce locally in Malaysia (all this while though JRD a Germany product).

Have interest with one of the JRD rim, hence request comment at here.

I have used JRD germany.

DAMN good product.

Light and durable.

I have crashed into many holes,drains and more and no problem.

It got bent after somebody borrowed the rims.

sigh. I dunno how they do it.

But i heard local one bad lah.

I've used Honda JRD local 14 inch also. Heavy. But i haven't had the real opportunity to really test it coz my 14 inch tyres were bad. No grip.

JRD Malaysia sux!

I had to change two rims in the last 6 months. Damn jia-lat. Have to consider getting some quality imported rims now. Otherwise have to drive damn slow to avoid all the holes in our roads.

My fren bought JRD 15 inch rim but did not last long..............it went benkok then had to take back to the shop to mend it.............JRD rims made in malaysia is like proton cars............bad QC , that also if u r unlucky lah. Try BSA, it's made in malaysia but quality wise it's good, I have been using it last time and very satisfied

JRD Mys = Branded Cap Ayam = make no difren w/ normal cap ayam but juz much more expensive.

JRD rims = Sg buloh rim.. damn sux.. hav to say this even using one myself now
I once went to repair my friends Sparco rim that was bend for hitting a pot hole at Sri Muda.. brought to a shop at kajang.. it took the apek almost 1 hour to repair the rim.. in between doing the rim came a guy that wants to repair his JRD 16".. guess how long it take, about 5 min oni.. just burn it slightly, light ketuk2 and walla its done.. i was shocked man... thats the difference in quality..

Yah.

But probably in kedai potong only.

so far in a span of 3 years after i had to let go my JRD germany rims, i have only come across 1 other JRD germany.

my stock JRD(local) 14" rims, takes only 6 months for all the rims become dented, not even kena any big pothole, just normal pothole nia, now switch to Volk Racing already, result thumb up!!! :D
