Have u guys heard that the JPJ will no longer treat to approve an engine conversion from 1.8 to 2.0 Liter for turbo . They said that because proton is not procusing a turbo car . This is a talk of my close fren to his uncle who is a Deputy Director at JPJ Putrajaya who is willing to get the surat kawal selia for upgrading his wira 1.5 to 2.0 Turbo a few weeks ago ....

His uncle was telling that now there is a lot of evo engine at Port Klang that is not laku anymore because of it ... Is it true ?

well..if there's no real comfirmation about this news..then it might not be true.

it could be a rumour.

It that just proton car only??? so like collora 1.6 to 2.0 i.e 3sgte, this can kah???
Coz toyota is procusing a turbo car....

aiyok.sorry fr wrong interpretation.:_:

so..less 4G63Ts huh?

if the rule is not a rumour..i think it applies to all cars.

the rules apply to all non turbo factory producing car .... Yes it was true ... that is y 4g93T is quite high ... if u don't believe it then try to ask those who had turn their car to 2L but still don't have the approval .... Their rules applies immediately .... it happen to my fren already ... but i don't know if some one can kawtin

How about putting in a turbo engine but the turbo removed for inspection? Then the inspector ask, "Mana turbo?". You answer, "Tak maulah, manyak bising larr. Proton NA maa". Go home and chuck in a bigger snail. Hahah!

idea is niceee....but must hide intercooler also lah!

Or just sell off the Proton n buy a real turbo car...

turbo

I also heard some sort of the news like,

On a wira/satria chasis the biggest engine is a 4693 & therefore no bigger CC engine is allowed to be transplanted..

This has increased the price of gsr's halfcut...

Dunno how far is true..

But whatever, the "Boleh Kautim" thing is deffinitely applicable i strongly believe no matter what the rules are.... Coz my fren just transplanted Evo 3 to his wira sedan 1.3 by even taking for inspection.. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Darn , because of that noone will go for Proton except for Uncle Uncle coz cannot do conversion ..... Darn darn darn , how about bolt on ? Can ahh ?

wel...i think BOT wont be a prob lor..the "rule" says a convertion...ur not meddling with the displacement.

Understand the statement meant only for Proton which means other than proton cars should be grant approval.:baring_teeth::Not_Impressed:
