JPJ issues

hi guys,
recently i just got a letter from JPJ asking me to bring my car to JPJ for checking. I havent been into a roadblock nor got pulled over. And obviously not speeding as well as I was told that they spotted me on MRR2 at 5:50pm which is impossible to even reach 80km/h and I dont zigzag around the traffic.
the reason they stated was under Seksyen 44 (A) and 1 more Seksyen 114 (1).im driving a wira with standard bodykits (except a mivec hood) and 3" exhaust with 4WD fuel tank and a pretty big 3.5" super dragger muffler. my ride is not too low either (2 fingers gap in front and 3 fingers at the rear). i went for inspection the way the car is now except for the mivec hood. I have no idea what that is. anyone care to show me some light before calling them?

just change which ever seems extreme modifications like, full exhaust system & air restrictors, JPJ are more keen on this both items. .. the hood have nothing to do i suppose unless ure front look is proton. low profile such ure car is no problem .. my previous car was 2 inch from the road ;)

SIASATAN


[size=-1]1) Pengendalian Siasatan

Aktiviti siasatan dijalankan terhadap aduan yang diterima dari orang ramai berkaitan dengan kes-kes kesalahan lalulintas, tatakelakuan pemandu, perkhidmatan yang diberikan oleh syarikat-syarikat bas dan kesalahan-kesalahan lain di bawah Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987.

Tugas siasatan dijalankan secara:-

i) Intipan
ii) Menyamar
iii) Penguatkuasa
iv) Temuduga

Pengendalian pengaduan dari orang ramai boleh dibuat samada:

i) Hadir sendiri dipejabat
ii) Melalui Telefon
iii) Melalui surat

Maklumat-maklumat yang perlu diberikan semasa aduan dibuat:

i) Nombor kenderaan
ii) Tarikh
iii) Masa
iv) Tempat
v) Kesalahan
vi) Catatan ringkas berhubung kejadian

Tindakan yang diambil terhadap aduan yang diterima:

i) Surat panggilan temusiasat
ii) Temuduga dan siasatan
iii) Tindakan berdasarkan fakta kes
iv) Memastikan kebenaran kes aduan

Tindakan terhadap kes aduan yang terbukti kesalahannya:

i) Saman JPJ(P) 22
ii) Kompaun/Mahkamah

Sekiranya orang yang diadu tidak hadir temuduga:

i) Tindakan senaraihitam dilakukan.

a) Kuasa Pegawai Penyiasat

i) Seksyen 123 (1) APJ 1987 -
Pegawai-pegawai tidak berpakaian seragam hendaklah mengemukakan kad-kad pengenalan[/size]

[size=-1](1) Tiap-tiap pegawai polis atau warden lalulintas apabila bertindak terhadap mana-mana orang di bawah Akta ini hendaklah, jika berpakaian seragam, dan tiap-tiap pegawai pengangkutan jalan apabila bertindak sedemikian hendaklah, apabila diminta, mengisytiharkan jawatannya dan mengemukakan kepada orang yang dia mengambil tindakan suatu dokumen yang menunjukkan identitinya itu sebagaimana yang masing-masingnya diarahkan oleh Pesuruhjaya Polis dalam hal seorang pegawai polis, dan apa-apa dokumen pengenalan sebagaimana yang diarahkan oleh Dato Bandar dalam hal warden lalulintas, dan apa-apa dokumen pengenalan sebagaimana yang diarahkan oleh Ketua Pengarah dalam hal pegawai pengangkutan jalan, untuk dibawa oleh seorang pegawai polis, warden lalulintas dan pegawai pengangkutan jalan.[/size]

Pegawai-pegawai tidak memakai pakaian seragam hendaklah mengemukakan kad pengenalan.[/size]

[size=-1]Tiap-tiap pegawai polis dan pegawai pengangkutan jalan, apabila bertindak terhadap mana-mana orang di bawah Akta ini jika tidak berpakaian seragam, hendaklah diminta, mengisytiharkan jawatannya dan mengemukakan kepada orang yang terhadapnya dia bertindak dokumen yang membukti identitinya sebagaimana yang diarahkan oleh Ketua Pegawai Polis dalam hal seorang pegawai polis atau sebagaimana yang diarahkan oleh Ketua Pengarah dalam hal seorang pegawai pengangkutan jalan supaya dibawa oleh pegawai polis atau pegawai pengangkutan jalan itu masing-masing.[/size]

im pretty sure its not about the car cus no mods done from the day the car got inspected until now.

another member pm-ed me saying he got into a similar case and said someone reported him for driving dangerously. but from what i remember, i dont zigzag on MRR2. if there's a road hogger then i'd just overtake them from the left.

ah...now i remember something, there was 1 day this B!+CH was road hogging all the way on the fast lane and i high beam-ed her...no response. cant overtake from the left cus there was quite a lot of cars. so kept on flashing and finally she noticed theres someone behind her and she sort of panicked and swerved to the middle lane (yea i got pretty close to her but just for about 3-5 seconds hoping she could open her eyes and see a car thru her side mirror) and then gave me a wtf-are-u-doing stare. didnt bother and just continue my journey.

bah how can they prove anything from that? so if i just complain a random number plate and that guy will get compounded?

it just says that the pegawai has the rights to call me/my car for questioning?

you are welcome.just helping then.
anyway the issue right now is, try to swap ur hood and ur exhaust with ur friend first , then go for the inspection.try to make ur car as stock as possible. if u dont go, chances u cant renew ur roadtax next year.

yep dude, follow eg8's advice...try to make ur car looks as standard as possible.....good luck!!...after finish the inspection, u can straight away put ur parts back..;)..

my muffler is just huge but quiet. if i were to change to smaller sized ones then definitely gonna be noisy (cos my friend's one is noisier than mine with the same setup)

bout the hood, gonna be quite troublesome to re-weld the hood bracket. well inspection is about a month away hopefully i'll be able to swap the hood with my friend. but is it ok to go with the hood? cos im still using ori proton bumper.

Driving slow causes accidents to ! .. In America if you do not drive at a designated speed at certain parts of the freeway .. u kena saman sial ...

Most of the Custard road hoggers are just arragont people who think they own everything .. and since they paying road tax they got the right to do anything on the road ..

when u going for JPJ inspection .. just bring a few $$ incase u need to give those Hack @ss some bribe .. RgrGr ..

im expecting i got reported for driving dangerously and not because of my car. cos be real! i never got pulled over during a road block or when i overtook cops/jpj vehicles. i guess that should be it. btw how to they even prove (thats if i did) that i did drive dangerously? can i like just random pick a car's num plate and report to jpj saying he drives dangerously but in fact he is not? thats pretty stupid isnt it?

soon will be going back for raya. i think i'll try to count how many road hoggers on my way back. that should keep me buzy (driving long distance sometimes kinda bored. further more my car is slow)
