jerking while speeding

hi can anyone help me...

my car jerk while i turned on the turbo
first i tought i was the air intake
but when i go to my friend's workshop
it was the TD04 turbine prob. one of the fin is bent a bit

what to do?? :frown:

i prefer a low cost repair hehehe :biggrin:

i dun own a turbo car but i think i knows whats wrong with ur car
i read about turbo lag
mayb in order to minimize or wipe out the lag u have to install another turbo a smaller size one i think,
they a have a article on this at overboost.com
try it out
can bent back kah the turbine fin?

wat car is tat? wat ur mech said? when turbo ON..ur car pull or not pull?

ask tong turbo to fix it. or buy half cut 1 lor... if you fix it at tong turbo, they can change the fin for you and you need to replace all the turbine kit and you also need to balance the fin. its not easy you know. they also got refurbish set of turbine also. search on the net for tong turbo i think ;P

no, it's not turbo lag. turbo lag is the time it takes for the turbo to kick in after you floor the accelerator. jerking is not caused by turbo lag.

i think it would be better to replace it la, since turbos spin at very high rpms, you don't want one to come apart do u? :wink:
 
Khaizer, how do you 'turn on' the turbo when it is always running? Please provide details.
 
u might try service ur injector, but if u increase boost u need to increase fuel supply also
