Jerk at high RPM

at high rpm let say 5.5 above the exhaust like got
so at 180kmh all cant go more cos rpm reach 5 already
i can hear
puf puf puf from exhaust not loud but like batuk

Read through all the threads in Forced Induction
It could be Plugs Kaput (using the halfcut iridiums)
Running Rich
or is it RPM Cut or Speed cut (using rsm though)

other gear can go beyond 5k rpm ? if so, than i assume it is speed cut. rpm cut, cannot be la..too early

but of cos i dont rev more than 5k rpm at 1 and 2nd gear la
cant be speed cut cos lower speed also like that

Finally , after changing the spark plug, ignition wire, silicon hoses and bla bla....and i found out it is ECU problem...aiyo... :P

Better check ur ECU also.....

other than spark plugs, spark cables at times may be the culprit.

owh...all rpm aa. better take ezwong's advice becos mine got this problem previously..cannot go beyond 0.5bar...strange. check fuel filter so on..no problem on fueling.
then i change my spark plug cable with my friend..no problem..then it is time to change lah

well i think its either ur intercooler hose got leak or there is some vaccum leak . since u had mention u change to the vr4 bov , im sure there is something not right with it . maybe the recirculate tube not place it properly which has leaks , so when ur turbo sucks air , there is some leak which alot of uncounter air getting sucked in it then you don't have enough fuel to support the uncounter air , so u`ll jerk on high rpms .

vestax : takin into note , will switch and see.
Vr4 Mouth to recirculate is quite small compared to the 2G
so i tightened it to fit , maybe it wasnt a good idea..
will check on it

since u say its small , then i can confrim that is the problem , u got a leak , cause if before this u were able to rev up without problems , and just recently after u switch to the vr4 bov only u got this problem , then i bet u have leaks . cause my friend had this prob too . u need to make sure the recirculate tube is really sealed .

changed back to the 2G bov , now no Puf Puf Puf
must go weld a bigger mouth piece for the vr4 bov ...
but its kinda rough at high rpms.. must go check still

when i first read this topic... i was like.. huh? who's a jerk at high rpm? hahahahahahaha.... damn blurr... keh keh keh..

anyway, it's your fuelling la... maybe you're boosting high and not enough fuel already. happened to me before on my RB20, lower the boost slightly.... and everything is fine :)

Vr-4 old BP 7 ES .. (no bpr)
so far no misfiring , but high rpm kind rough

i have the same exact problem as yours.. still haven't solve it yet...

jerking at high rpm...cpark plug cable change oredi spark plug change oredi...
external fuel pum oso got bigger injector oso got...but still jerking especially on high rpm...

check Cable , Plug , Coils , Injectors
lastly i had this problem it was a unit called RV4 near the Coils.
