currently my car is using 15" of wheels with 50mm only.willl it be effected when using 55mm just like Waja.?i want to make my car higher so that i can put evo look bumper.and also wat is the recommended abs for my ride?i want to make it stable and also comfort.i dun want to lower my car,wat is ur guys recommend ways?

let's clear something first

since u are using 15" rims, i assume this is ur spec for tyre

195/50/R15
rite
195 is 195mm is the tyre width
50 is the percentage of the tyre width as the height of the tyre which means ur tyre height is 50% of 195mm
R15 is the rim size

okay, here is a good suggestion

get 195/55/R15 tyres. more comfort and a slightly higher ride
plus ur rims wun get dented so easily
tyres will be slightly more expensive at around RM200 a piece for eagle F1
195/50/R15 tyres can get for around RM 160 for eagle F1 larrr

u want both comfort and stablility, that is not really possible
u have to have a balance and from what i can tell, the oem springs and abs are good enough
please dun make ur rear higher than the front, that may look 'cool' and all but undoubtly will terribly affect ur handling
try taking corners with that setup, guarentee fishtail

what i would suggest is get some ARB and definately a 4 point strut bar for the bottom front

mind telling me which version of wira are you driving?

yah yah... since u are not looking into widen ur tyre, using higher profile tyres wont help ur handling much...

look into stabilizer bars and antiroll bars... they help alot...

a stock stock car also can install those wat wat bars?
my also wira 1.5 auto one....
no power and handling compare wif my fren car very lousy
where to get those bars and how much $ nice spend for normal use ?

Hello bro,

DarkAccoon is right. Cannot have comfort and stability all together... :tongwink:

Go for bars as SkYwAlKeR said, there are great products in zth. ZENDEN and ULTRA RACING...

Since you only go for looks more than thrills, use back your stock setup lorr. Maybe add a spring bush to higher up the rear a little with stock springs... Nice and low budget... :X-:

well,thks for everyone advice.
my car is aeroback 1.6cc version.i added 2 inches bush onto my rear absorber actually with lowered kind of spring when the time i lowered my car last year.and the result is my rear higher than front(2 fingers only) becoz the higher rear is meant for passanger.after quite a few months i take out the lowered spring from the front side and the rear remain untouched.
last time asked an acc shop regarding the ultra racing bar(is it white colour?) about how it should be installed to my car.he said he need to drill a hole(becoz the bar is third point) at my firewall.is it the way to install?i afraid this might affect my car hardeness.
wat brand of abs is good?how is monroe?

Haven't try monroe before... Can't help...:tongwink:

If you are not the racing leg, then any absorber will do. I have tried showa, tokico, kayaba and gab. All performs quite same if go SLOW SLOW. If racing leg then have to ask those sii fuus, me no racing leg...:X-: My car damn slow...

racing leg get hard hard ones lor.... short stroke absorber good for handling and cornering... currently my car is on short stroke abs... vr uncomfortable especially on bumpy roads... but if u can find a smooth nice corner, cornering damn cun... hahaha....

if i add wider tyres + antiroll bar, sure more cun... too bad my car is iswara... rear tyres offset is limited due to the arch fender.... and, iswara dont have antiroll bar....

how is the look of antiroll bar?sometimes it confuse me as wat is antiroll bar and so on.any1 have pic to show me wat is wat?

antiroll bar is the name for all the bars used..like the strut bar..and so on.
the name says it all..anti-roll.:_:

fluffy kor kor arr...

anti roll bar (ARB) is different from struts bar lorrr

tomolo i post picture and let u see ya
=P

ahaha, ok lar, seriously, ARB are different from strut bars

Some advice mayb can help. Currently this is my spec of my car:

1. 195/50/R15 Bridgestone Potenza G3 with KR Sport Rim (Taiwan)
2. 4 point front bar from Ultra Racing
3. 2 point rear bar from Hot Bits
4. 1 set of HWL adjustble
5. Tyre chamber set to -1.5

This are the only handling equipments that i had installed into my car. What i can say is that my car now is very good in handling better than ever before and quite comfort too hehe....

in my opinion, go for antiroll bar first.... u feel much more satisfied... coz it works with ur suspension setting.... while fender bars and front bars jz to stiffen the chassis....

the anti roll bar is expensive lah!RM450,oh my god.
anyone to ans my question?my heart will pain when i see they make extra hole to install the bar.

erm... regarding ur question... i thought behind the sticker, there's a hole for it (no need drill)... jz plug and play for wira.... i cannot confirm this la... if u dont wanna drill hole, weld it to ur firewall lor....
