Idle rpm y so high?

Er..im driving 4age blacktop and is it normal for the rpm to be 1k during idle? nowadays duno y wen i switch on my aircond..it will go up to 1.2k..is it normal or wat?should it be lower than 1k? Im thinking this is also the main cause tht affect my fc to be so bad too..thankyou!

mine without aircond is a little bit higher than 1k.
after on aircond it is 850-950 only... hahahaha.
i guess it is my wiring problem... i just leave it like
tht.. too tired to fix it liao... last time svt also got problem
with idle too low... this time too high pula and fuel cut at 7500rpm.

just wanna ask u guys..mine is around 1.1 then when air con is off and its around 1.2 o 1.3...but when travel and the stop(when the car is warm) it will go down very low till 0.6 somethings 0.5

any idea?

is it bad?

as i know....toyota cars when engine is cold
RPM will higher to warm up the engine faster

yeahbaby, definitely it is abnormal for urs. as the manual says it should be 850-950. when aircond compressor kicks in i guess should be a bit higher only.

but my aircond on low, off high. after driving it will gets high due to temp lower... stop for few seconds temp warmer then drop to 1.1 or 1.2k rpm.

i really surrender liao... ehehehe. my fuel consumption is like 35liters for 280km max. normally i get 240km. when i rev my car... my fren saw lots of black smoke coming out from muffler.. i guess running too rich... :lol:

same goes with me, without air-con, RPM 1.1-1.2k, but after sometimes, it will go back to 1k, with aircon .85-0.9k

my 4ag tvis idles at 1.1k cold...1.2 k hot and with aircond when hot also 1.2 k...hehehehe :)

i wasted a lot of money on doing
this idle one... but silvertop finally did it.
a very perfect idle for RM120. dunno wht
tht guy did. hahaha. he said clean sensors
only. but i don think that's all...

so for blacktop i will let it be...

mine...ae101 sc...when on air-cond rpm goes from 0.8 til sometimes 1.4 and it repeats the reading every few minutes...have been experiencing this for bout 2 years up till now......don't care oleady.......muhahahahaaaa....

hope something won't happen..............

Oh...y u all sounds more teruk than me?mine few minutes will kick in n go to 1.2k...i also duno y..hehe..today asked the mechanic..he say 1k is good..the engine wont be shaking wen it idle..more comfort..i got ntg to say..haha! As u all say..dun care la..rite?hehe... :lol:

My SVT idling is 1.2k at cold, 0.8k warm.
A/C kicked on is 0.9~1.0k
Hard decceleration is 1.2k.
Perfect condition hehehe... :D :lol:

i think urs still can cure... ur air cond using the vacuum hose to pull?
why don't u try to adjust it? located on the passenger side firewall.

ee..one more question..just notice it..my gf just told me my car very strong petrol smell..so i get off from my car wen the engine is still running..i can smell it abit stronger than normal car..how come ar?so many questions.. :unsure:
