Identify various modded part

Hi all sifus,

This is my first post hope all sifus out there will be able to help me. I just bought a Honda Civic EH4 1.6 Year 94, and would like to mod the exterior. Recently i browsed thru some site and found some modded EG and they look really nice, but i dont know what are the parts and difference being modded in these two pics compared to the stock EG, i wonder if all sifus can help?

Here are three pics. The first one is stock EG ( i think so, cuz it looks like mine :embaressed_smile: ). The 2nd and 3rd one are both modded EG. I like the rear part of the 2nd pic but whats the difference of them compared to the stock EG rear part?

a good way to start is to stick with the kits that was meant for the car. EG for EG. If you start to rojak and use EK bodykits lets say, then its gonna be an eye sore. I see too many 4 door civic like to abuse the CTR back lip which actually look ugly to me(no offence tho). keep it jdm and neat.

but if u decide to go the non-jdm with odd bodykits, its your choice and money.

to shed some light, get the hyper-rev book for honda civics, it has 3 volumes now and just follow what has been done there.

Thanks for your feedback. But i thought EG = EH? i know that modded EG's rear part has the rear part of EK... or at least it looks like it, but i dont know the exact thing that has been modded :emoticon_U: Any feedback on that is greatly appreciated!

Also.. may i know where do i get the mentioned hyper-rev book for honda civics? Any local book store?

5 sen... go source jdm eg9 rear spoiler... with bonnet RM450-500, spoiler only
RM350-400...heheheheheh dont argue with the price, its what klang valley
eg folks willing 2 pay for... chop shop stuff

then look for jdm eg9 ori front lips... chop shop RM150 (2nd hand), new from
LHS jln ipoh I HEARD RM190 only????

finally look 4 fog lights.... price i dunno

for the jdm eg mod what u need is:-

jdm eg9 rear trunk with spoiler
rear windscreen with wiper (in case got snow here)
jdm front eg9 bumper with spotlite
94 spec eg interior with door trim.
double din console

thats only what i know..

i forgot... rear plate no housing or whatever they call it for jdm version
is different... egniners dig those too... like the white car in ur 2nd pic

i think that blue car in ur 1st pic sports a jdm rear spoiler

EH is local model. the exterior trimming is different. i dun think its expensive anymore to do a "EG9" look except you dun use the water sprinkler that runs underneath your roof.

just make sure your colour scheme is good and contrast with your rims.

hyper-rev are available at kinokuniya, klcc kuala lumpur. per book is RM106.00.

I would like to know, for the 2nd pic car rear plate, they are different right? and to use that, have to change rear trunk one ah?

Also, the 2nd pic rear trunk is jdm eg9 rear trunk? that is without spoiler one woh..

... and don't forget to buy the small-small details like the 'DOHC VTEC' stickers for both rear doors, 'Ferio' sticker (3) for the rear door pillars and rear trunk (in case the one you obtain from half-cut shop didn't have one - which i really sure 'somebody' will get hold of it first) and the ever-present 'SiR' sticker for rear trunk)

Btw, the pics sent by eg8 is the good guide to jdm-way, but it's all depend on owner taste & budget..:regular_smile:

Maybe i should get sport rims first, then change my car plate. My car plate is horizontal one... meaning the Alphabet and Numbers all in one line :shocked:

Dont know if change that car plate like yours can fit into current position or not becoz not enough space leh.. any suggestion? can change car plate housing one?

Your spoiler looks nice.. and is that a stock eg muffler?

You have wiper at rear windscreen, nice leh.. also whats that which is attached at the top of your rear windscreen ah? looks like a door visor. hehe

it's okay maa... just drive slowly, don't tarik2 or people will know... but make sure you have converted the rear drum brakes to disc brakes... then when people cucuk just maintain your cool... :X-:
