Idea for AE111!!

I've plan for converiting my SEG AE111!!!
well... I've heard of AE111 20V B/Top 6Speed!!
er... do this engine have auto-trans??
or only manual-trans??
well....i'm a newbie for Toyota engine!!
I wan to understand more about toyota engine since now i'm driving SEG!!!

sure got auto,but 4 speed only,with POWER and MANU buttton.
u buy la 5 speed or 6 speed then exchang the gearbox with me la..haha

Brother that day I heard the Bt auto got 5 speed mar.......
And the Bt 6 speed manual already need 6k++.....
And the 6 speed gearbox cost around 2k++......

no,blacktop ae111 auto only 4 speed,but if u get the last model ae111,the engine 4a-m****** then the auto g/box with new setting ratio.better response.



so far i get :6 speed half cut 5k with full bodypart no accident,at setapak.6 speed g/box with look very new engine,2.3k at cheras tun hussin oon.but finally i choose auto la,,,,sure get cheap:)

just now i saw 1 halfcut shop at bentong,ae101 levin with modify come with cusco ajustable front n rear,pillow ball,bomex bodypart,fiber levin ae101 bonet,and strut bar cusco.....guess how much?...RM 3.8K only....!!!cause i not bring enough money,then bought by a runner from KUANTAN....

silvertop 5 speed LEVIN 101 manual with bomex bumper,fiber bonet(but not hard,a bit solf maybe PU or other light weight meterial),alluminium ratiotor(the buyer say want to put at his Accord,sayang laaa...),oil cooler,ngk plug cable,and inside engine i dunno la,,,sure modify kao kao one cause the halfcut boss say he try this car before cut,feel very light and power.....anyway,sold aready,have to wait next kontena lo....

eh....i'm looking for AE111 engine...cos my car AE111 mah!!
imposible for me to change new AE111 engine for old AE101 engine!!
anyway...thanks for the infomation about the transmition for auto n manual!!
now i'm using auto trans...if i change to manual trans... do i have to report to JPJ??
i though changing transmition is illegal!!

ahlea, changing gear box u sure no need jpj approval? auto to manual woh? :D hahah!! hang on tight there bro! :P hahahah!!! end of year.. cny coming.. u change now.. man man!~~ fried on the top of the table for sure....

6 speed.. hheheh!! try to use gear 5 more compare to 6th.. coz 6th sekali "kepioingngng!!!" fuiyo.. wanna find that single 6th gear plate.. pengsan for sure... Japan born products... and so hot selling ones.. pengsan man.. :P

maybe if your reg.card show the car model --> (A) then hav to update to JPJ lo,,,,but so far i think seldom check one....my reg.card just show the car model,not show (M) or (A)....so pakai manual or auto also can...hehee.....

what gear plate you talking about ah ??? clutch for 5 speed and 6 speed is the same/interchangeable ..

yolk. ^_^ it is the 6th gear plate.. not the clutch. :D clutch wise..aiyer.. use racing clutch la..haha!! traffic jam time r.. mati there.. have to at least give space 3 cars..hahaha!!

btw KelThuzad, my advice on the gear was becoz 6th gear trans is a rare item. Once those 20v BT lovers sifo range r... they hear about a new incoming gear box on naked, they usually already booked for it. And this booking even already placed down at japan also..coz they know the guys who go over to japan to cut those 2nd car de. Plus, 6th gear plate is extremely sensitive, light and thin. Once it get spoiled, u will be headache then...becoz 5th gear trans and 6 gear trans use different stuff. I do believe if u give up the 6 gear box after it spoiled and wanna change 5 gear back... it takes quite a lot of thing to change too.. and of course 6 gear box is very fast becoz of the ratio there. So close and u just like main the gearbox all the time when u speeding the time...

it is just an advice thou... :) so far I myself is still thinking wether should I input 5gear or 6gear... but seriously I scared about the 6gear rosak later whereby I can't find back the parts. :) even if I do.. or I go purchase another 6 speed gearbox... it will cost me rm1.5k plus... so sort of scarry le... and I know how I drive ones.. surely the 6th gear will keluar starry* ones when I am too excited during chase out time. :P

that is my opinion if u are still new in 4age thingy ^_^

ya...toyota 6 speed g/box is 1K plus++,depend condition and luck:)

but Honda...5 speed aready 2k plus woooooo....hehee..:)

R u sure the racing cluch so keras meh..how many inc u used..if u used 8.5" i think not so keras la..clucth plate if racing not so keras but if u put racing clutch cover sure kaw kaw keras..but still can cntrl juz ur kaki keras lo...
