Yes, yes, dramatic title I know... :)

Greetings Malaysia, nice to have found your forum!
I hail from Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is on the east coast of Canada.
I'm a huge car fan and am currently in the process of importing a '90 Nissan Fairlady Twin Turbo, directly from Japan (an interesting experience, so far!).
Here in Canada, it is legal to import anything over 15 years old, so the first Skyline GT-Rs (which have never been available here) are beginning to arrive...exciting stuff!

I'm very interested in collecting car magazines from around the world and was wondering if anyone was interested in making some straight trades? It would be interesting to know what is available in Malaysia! English, Chinese, Malay, Japanese...anything unique to me would be awesome!
Post or PM me, if you are interested in some magazines from North America, in return :tee: .
Thanks!

In fact Halifax does offer 'haunted house' tours, however, the Swissair 111 site is not included...having said that, the internment grounds, for the remains of the flight 111 passengers, is a very moving and contemplative place.

Oh, and thanks everyone, for your welcome, so far!

I'm surprised that our drag scene holds such high esteem, in your part of the world. I'll pass that along to my people here!

Bro, how's the JDM scene over at Halifax? read that the north crew are more into Hondas like the Florida boys... (yeah, when referring to Honda Tuning & DTuned...). Anyway... warm welcome dude.

- I think I still remembered there were 2 very cool Datsun 510s from Ottawa, which is featured in one of Primedias magazine (probably SCC) doing burnouts... and don't expect to see any Malaysian rides in any mags at ur place... we're bit secretive about our mods to the world :D juz kidding...

People are bringing front end clips, engines, etc. Not too many bringing in entire cars, although one fellow (originally from the UAE) has brought in a container with 3 R32 Skylines GTS-t's. There are one or 2 GT-Rs, in the region, but none in Halifax at the moment.
Tons of Hondas, you've got that right! They are cheap and cheerful, with a lot of performance parts just waiting to be bolted on.
I'm into true sporting machines. My first JDM import will be the Fairlady Twin Turbo, because of its popularity and parts availability. I plan to sell it, bring in another and continue doing so, working my way up to a GT-R.
I'm originally from the Ottawa area. Ontario has more people (with money), so the scene is bigger there. Those 510s must have been rare birds! Talk about old school. Used to see so many, but they've almost all have bitten the dust, not enough around to mod. Old school seems to be really big in Australia, where the weather is kinder on their cars.
I don't suspect too many Malaysian rides in the N/A mags...no Protons here! And many of the old Colts (related to your Protons) have rusted out, long ago.
I'm still looking for cool magazines from your area...what is available on your newstands? I'd like to make some trades for what you have!
