What is the market price for Hyundai Coupe? My cousin's friend Orange Coupe outside my house. Pretty stylo mylo :D

The 3rd gen used to sell at around RM170K for 2.0 litre & RM200+ for 2.7 litre.
The 4th gen, which is the new facelift shall be in the market soon, not sure if the price remain the same.

babyprecious1988,
do you own a coupe?

Tuscani 2nd-hand can get around Rm120K.
Not 4th Generation, just facelift.

different Coupe owner have their own taste, some will tune the car to have more power and sacrified the FC. But for me, I make it to be as fuel economic as possible. :)

My car is stock,
For city driving
last time, my previous job require me to travel Federal highway everyday, I can get 580KM per tank
after I change my job, I got 500KM per tank. And I got only 470-480KM per tank after I change the stock rim to 17" rim.

The oil tank is around 58L.
so if 58 x RM1.62 = RM93.96 for full tank
my top record so far is RM89.93 (and the fuel indicator haven't reach the "E" level yet)

Power wise, i think nothing to shout about, unless you did like cws here to mod the car and squeeze out more horsepower on a NA mahcine. cws have more than 150hps on a NA engine if I'm not mistaken :)
or like 1 of the member, change to 4G93T, with 210hps stock on turbo.

of course, you can supercharged or turbocharged the engine. but according to Tiburon (one of the member here, not the car), you need to standby RM10K for the turbocharged project. I'm still looking for supercharged, but I dun think it is going to be cheap, and looks like no reliable Mech in Malaysia can do that for Coupe.

Coupe usually comes with 1.6 1.8 and 2.0 version. Try not to get 1.6. It is underpower for my standard :)

handling, for stock, i think it is good enough. But my car comes with struct-bar. I'm not sure what's the feeling of attacking the corner without struct bar. Get a good set of tyres, Yokohama will be good to improve handling. My internal cabin is noisy because I change to lower profile tyres and the Bridgestone Potenza GIII that I'm using is ... just noisy, unlike my Yokohama set I used b4.

Maintenance. Original Hyundai Part tends to be a bit expensive, actually it is just like maintaining a WAJA with all genuine parts. The only disadvantage maintaining Hyundai car is that there is very little chop shop have the parts, but I never buy any things from chop shop, even when I drive my previous car, coz I dun have confident for the quality of the chop shop parts. If you tends to buy parts from chop shop, then you might need to think twice. The club have few contact to get cheaper parts for Hyundai Coupe.

For 97-99 Tiburon (1.8M) , i think the selling price shall be 43K - 45K.

For 00-02 Turbulence (2.0A), the selling price is around 68K.

standby few K for maintaince, it's normal for second hand car. You might want to change the timing belt and aircon belt when you get the car, car owner in malaysia tends to "forgot" to change that.

IMHO, go for 00-02 Turbulence (2.0A or 1.8M), More easier for maintainance and it patch up some common problem that 97-99 Tiburon have.

You can PM/call Tiburon if you are looking for Coupe, he may have few contacts in hand. Or you can PM/Call me up if you want more someone to inspect and test the car for you.

but first of all, what's your budget? :)
happy shopping.

I found this, Tiburon/Turbulence half cut?

Turbulence front

Tiburon rear

so what chasis code is this? :D
I really can't tell what's the original chasis code for this.
But heck, I love this combination!
