Hungry Ghost Festival

lets revive the ghost story topic as the 7th month of lunar calendar begin at this friday and the most horrifying day (14/07) is at 18/08.

u can expect alot ghost movie in tv during this month..

wats Do and Dont.pantang larang?..lets share...

these are wat my mom remind me when i drive at the wee hours during this month:

-smell something bad,rotten,dont look elsewhere try to find the source and concentrate on the road,

-no walking alone at dark alley at night

no cursing in the middle of the nite..

Hungry Ghost Festival
bcos this is the once a year thingy for the those in the other part of the world to come visit their living relatives on earth. they will be offer big feast that they dont enjoy thru out the year. This is the yearly get together when the ghost go clubbing, enjoy themselves and play punk at times to those unfortunate ones (See Wan Tai)

I actually got a friend who can see these ppl during this period of time, just normal for him. But he just dont say anything when stumble on one.

during this period dont boast and try your luck by saying something like this "there is no ghost in this world" " ghost come i kick their ass" and stuff like that...

and when it is raining at nite around 1-2am avoid driving..i mean speeding..

dont simply tah-fei-kei if u r camping outside..(this one is just a joke)

A doctor and a nurse was at the 4th floor of a hospital treating a patient. After that, they took the lift to get down to the ground floor. But the lift didn't stop at ground floor. It continued its way downwards to B1, B2 and B3 (Basement 3).

The door opened slowly and a girl wanted to get into the lift. The doctor quickly closed the door of the lift. When asked by the nurse why didn't he let the girl in, the doctor replied, "Didn't you see the red tag on the girl's wrist? Basement 3 is mortuary. Every corpse there has a red tag for identification on its wrist..."

The doctor was panting away... And the nurse lifted up her hand and showed the doctor her wrist... with a red tag on...

Why still wanna misleading the truth regarding the "FESTIVAL" untill this generation?

The purpose of this FESTIVAL is to remember the pass away relative and love one.... i dont want to call my relative or love one who pass away "HUNGRY GHOST" or "GHOST".

Not to Flame/fire on anybody ....... but i think the HK Movie is misleading the truth about the FESTIVAL....

ya..however it jus a name only...Hungry Ghost Festival is where the spirit will come out to 'visit' their family or friend...and also 'visit' people which killed them...Jus like Qing Ming we go to clean their grave...
