We have four datesconfirmed with Sepang beginning on April 22nd for ourevents. Further we will have up to 8 R3 trackprepared cars that will be geared towards racinginstruction at all the events this year. The schedulewill be up on our website shortly. More dates will beadded as they become available. With that, HPC islooking to further strengthen our events through thecertification of instructors. Proton R3 hasgraciously arranged to coordinate the certificationprogram that will be conducted at the Proton Shah Alamtest track by the personnel from chassis and specialvehicle testing. This is the same course that all theR3, race and test drivers for Proton undergo and willprovide you with a valuable tool and enhancedconfidence for your instruction as well as to improveyour own skills. For those who do not know, the trackis a banked oval with an infield.As usual, the benefits to our instructors are freetrack time at HPC events as well as accomodations atout of state events, but more so, this is aninvaluable experience for the price. The course willencompass two weekend days with cars and all mealsprovided. Following are the details and the availabledates.Number of participants/session: 15 pax, Cars providedCost: RM690 per personDuration of training: 2 days (8.30am ~ 5.30pm)The course will focus upon the following key elements:i. Classroom theory including standardization ofinstruction (approximately 3 hrs)ii. Cockpit drill and familiarizationiii. Steering placement/operation and gear shiftingrefinementiv. Maneuver techniquesv. Skid control techniquesvi.
