how to make startlet 4EFTE power?

i feel really under power,cant even beat the mighty L2S kancil!
my spec is below,hope some toyo's sifu can help!

charade 1.0 espri car :

starlet 4EFTE engine with LSD
subaru VF 10 turbine
stainless steel piping
VR4 intercooler
2.0 inch exhaust piping
HKS 2.5 inch exhaust
35mm wastegate
K&N filter
TRD cable plug
blitz blow off valve
exedy race clutch
RX7 FC fuel pump
HKS FCD

currently boosting 1.0 bar but still feel the car under power...cant even beat the medium modded kancil with L2S engine... :frown:
now car in the workshop n planning to swap piston to a bigger one... stock piston is 74mm n thinking ton put 76mm since 5E block damn hard to get... any sifus out there can help? thanks...
 
u sure, even using the std turbine a kancil isnt any threat. u sure? iam using the same exhaust setting as urs, boosting 0.82 bar max (usually 0.69 bar), think dats about the difference. maybe the kancil wasnt really litely modded? i never tot a mira wud ever be a threat, guess i was wrong?
 
u can get 5e engine with this pomen:

yup,i had a game with slight moded kancil,we loose in 400m...
d kancil also same spec as mine... :frown: some said d turbine out of breath since the ori exhaust manifold was too short.planning to custom made d banana and try...

keong, maybe the problem isnt wit ur car, maybe the kancil was using a hybrid block. a modded b18c is easy, but i never cant say the same wit the VTEC hybrid block. hybrids r awesome, if done perfectly. i can also get u a 5EFHE block, complete wit the acis manifold. u really think u need dis? call me at 0163571811, cheers!
 
for your info charade espri more heavy from original GT body / ep71,..that y your car like under power,...so better need some other mod,...call that guy,..he will help u cause my friend also use same car & same engine like your,...tq
 
keong, u better listen to bro cekelat. his starlet was among the fastest in town wit td05, etc etc. dat kancil musta have tricks down its bonet bro, i tot u were using an aura?

what turbine then? VF10 i think a bit lag already if bigger sure more lag...

d kancil used RX6 turbine with RX5 housing.block i think bored a bit.management AFC 5 button,the rest same spec with mine.

thanks for ur info bro...as for the 5 e block,need to discuss with my foreman n see how cos a lot of work need to be done if we purchase the block...let's see whether we got any alternative... :wink:

yup cekelat's car is power.xtremeleo's car oso power.this 2 guy is a 4e sifoo hehehe.

bro,

ur vf10 hybrid with ct9 or purely vf10?

if hybrid then try looking again at ur setting..running rich mayb? so u feel sluggish..

if it's a vf10 i guess ur minimum boost should be 1.2 bar. Else u wont feel the turbine kicking. Thats what a few of my mazda b8 frens have been doing. Run at least 1.2...try ur luck but make sure u r not running leaning...
 
Custom manifold, TD05, Engine Management (Haltech, Motec, etcetc), FMIC, 330cc injectors, metal head gasket 1.2mm, cruise cams, 5E block, there should be good enough for 300 i think lolz

i hybrid it with mazda B6 rear,yup feel sluggish when i boost 1.0bar...turbo kick around 5000++rpm and cut off at 7000rpm... :frown:

custom manifold@banana going to put soon.turbine still VF10,injector try to use 4AZGE from toyota.trottlebody rebore.now still looking for 5E and 78mm piston n metal head gasket.as for management,will go for AFC 5 buttons first then try more advance 1 later...with those set up,do you think can out run the L2 or little mod GSR??? :wink:
