I Only Tried 200km/h At 8000rpm At Fourth Gear At Kesas Highway~That Time Raced With A Mivec~
But I Think My Car Still Can Go Further Because It Oni At Fourth Gear Already 200km/h~
Anyone Has Tried B4? :blink:

i had a wira 1.8 sohc, ported ,chnaged the t/b, lighten flywheel, manual (previously is auto)

i can reach 230 like that. quite fast to reach 180 but after 200 quite slow lo.

i always race car with people. haha
when i go highway sure reach 140 or 160.

Dunno wor....not yet try my fifth gear....Gti can rev until 8000rpm mah....the rpm meter got until 9000rpm....so 8000rpm is still ok la...

tested on gti end 2000 model,managed to reach 200km/h flat only...very slow compared to those wira 1.8dohc tiang gol which can reach 240km/h easily (and somemore standard!!)...erghhh

mine also at 4th gear 8K revs max at 200km/h...so any of guys know what is the actual top speed of a GTI. anyway mine is 2001 model

What are the factors that is limiting the top-end of a GTI? why cant it go beyond 220km/h just like the Wira 1.8 dohc and Putra. what is limiting it, i wonder

5th gear is shit!!!! cant do much it just pulls a little bit more. i tried it once and it will go up till 205km/h and thats all!!

so i really wanna find out what is limiting it!! no issues with the engine on the whole, very revvy and very torquey for it to reach 200km/h, after that...flat out.

im driving gti too angleren but now i already change my engine to gsr turbo...actually u said go untill 200km at fourth is right,i tried wit it b4 also...the meter show us is 200km already but actually its not `jun` one,if u have put on a rsm u`ll know.its show 200km actually i think is 185-190km only...yeah is real...n now i put on a gsr turbo n i drive at kesas n i can go till 240km...just buy a rsm n try again u`ll know the original meter not `jun` one~ :)
