HELP me pls... with JPJ keraja points

Hey guys, today I received this registered mail from JPJ it says i've reached 18 Keraja points due to 3 summonses and they reserve the right to suspend my license for 1 year. what should i do? they asked me to write in to appeal the decision and explain why they should not suspend my license. I really don't know what to say. Any opinion? pls?

what kind of summons did u get? i assumed you get those from speeding right?

Kad Pengenalan (depan dan belakang)

Lesen Memandu
3.

Notis Tunjuk Sebab

Sekiranya kesalahan dilakukan oleh pemandu lain selain daripada pemilik kenderaan berdaftar,sila sertakan dokumen berikut :

1.

Surat akuan bersumpah daripada pemandu yang melakukan kesalahan yang mendapat pengesahan dari Pejabat Pesuruhjaya Sumpah atau Mahkamah
2.

Salinan Kad Pengenalan (depan dan belakang) pemandu yang membuat Surat Akuan Bersumpah

1.

Salinan Lesen Memandu (depan dan belakang) pemandu yang membuat surat Akuan Bersumpah
2.

Dokumen lain yang berkaitan.

Jawapan/surat yang lengkap sahaja akan diproses oleh Urusetia Kejara.

Keputusan dari Ketua Pengarah Pengangkutan Jalan adalah seperti berikut :

1.

Amaran

Pesalah dibenarkan memperbaharui lesen

memandu setelah mata demerit dilupuskan

2.

Amaran dan pindah mata demerit

Pesalah dibenarkan memperbaharui lesen

meman setelah mata demerit dilupuskan.

Mata demerit akan dipindah kepada

pemandu yang melakukan kesalahan

berdasarkan Surat Akuan Bersumpah

3.

Amaran dan pindah mata demerit

Pesalah diminta menghadiri Kursus

Peningkatan Etika Pemandu(PEP)

Pelupusan Mata Demerit dilakukan setelah

pesalah menghadiri kursus dengan lengkap

4.

Rayuan ditolak

Rayuan tidak diterima dan pesalah KEJARA

hendaklah menyerahkan Lesen Memandu

Percubaan untuk dibatalkan dan CDL untuk

digantung berkuat kuasa pada tarikh

penyerahan lesen memandu



Sekiranya pesalah tidak berpuas hati dengan keputusan Ketua Pengarah Pengangkutan Jalan, surat rayuan boleh dikemukakan kepada Y.N Menteri Pengangkutan

If it is applicable of CDL (competent driving licence , non P ) holder sure many peple kena gantung licence one. :P

Aiyo why is JPJ like that wan... I already paid all the summons :(

I have never been fined for speeding before. Only no -entry, etc.etc. but there was once I was practicing for SSO2 then did a handbrake turn and lost control bang lamp post

brother.. bang lamp post can consider as very heavy fault ler.. did they ask u to pay for the lamp post? my fren bang into lamp post b4.. the sarjan told us if really kena saman he had to pay TNB the price of the lamp post also.. which is around rm4k! :blink: but for sure we settle it wit kopi duit la.. hehe

I have 11 summons from traffic since 1998 that have not been settled down till now. i could not renew my driving license, all 11 summons were from traffic police and after quite sometime 4 of it swapped to JPJ, so cant renew lorr, cannot buy car or even add a next stage class to my license oso. so i have to settle down the 4 summons that swapped to JPJ. and after that i renew my license and purchase my car in 2002.

i still have 7 more summons from traffic police that have not been settled. but nevermind, i just wait until it swapped to JPJ then i go settle lorr .. kekekek ...

Bro,

KEJARA point is for EVERYBODY. P license holders get only 10 points where as CDL holders get 15 points. So it means, P license holders ought to be more careful as they have less points for deduction. In general, we all ought to be careful. Did you know that being involved in an accident and if found to be at fault, you get 6 points deducted. I am not sure if it applies to all accidents though. :)

Thank you for the info.I never aware of that.But how come still less people kena gantung licence one?

Hey guys I just called up JPJ and asked. P driver have 10 Kejara Points. CDL drivers have 15 Kejara Points. Mine reached 18 already :(

Kejara points are accumulated over a 2 year period.

The chances of having license 'gantung' is very high. Most of the time they'll just reduce the term to 3 months gantung only.

What can I do? I'm so upset now...

write a appeal letter to jpj lar.. i got the letter last 2 months..
