Headlight Smoking

Hey all, wondering how many here still recognize me heheh but i need help this time. How many of you smoked ur headlight? My question is :

1. Will it damage the light? i.e. water goes in. (i know most of them had 1 yr warranty but after 1year will it be a small aquarium?)

2. Recomended to do so? (since its a brand new car)

3. Where do u guyz recommend me to do so?

I'm planning to do on a new N16 sentra. All sifus pls help me.

new car.... if u dont mind void the waranty, do lor...

i think some car accessory shop do have such service, but not sure which one has though... or mayb u can DIY lor... try search DIY forum, i think there is one or two DIY smoked headlights topic around....

Don't do it on your original headlamp lar...your car still new...later void warranty.....buy those taiwan one which already been smoked better lar i think.....ori ones are not cheap...if spoil susah nanti

if u plan to DIY, better get one extra headlamp as spare... jz in case if u ruin ur original headlamp, u still have a spare one.... or u can do DIY on the spare headlamp vice versa.....

smoke head light is depend on the ppl skill... me done b4 at kancil head light ... no aquarium till now 2 yr dy...

u must have the knowledge.i wanted to try.tak jadi.i tarak skill.

i discourage DiY for smoking h/lights.

If u found any place which have this kind of service u let me know also ok...
Im interested too.... or we can go together so that got cheaper price.... Hehe... DIY is quite risky..... :shades_smile:

I remember last time there is a member in zth providing this service with charge of 150 per car....
But now i search back the thread alrdy missing....

yah yah... DIY quite hard also, i admit... i guess the most important step is to make sure the headlights are all sealed up after smoking it...

i think ori headlights are better than those taiwan ones la...
i'm using black base crystal headlamp on my wira now...
its obvious that its not as bright as the ori pair...
but then wat to do...it certainly looks nice....
so i think smoke ur ori headlight is the best way la...provided u got the right person to do the job...
then u'll hav good visibility + good looks....
