wht hardest piston for B20B

It would be cosworth and wiseco. Cosworth would be very expensive. I have not seen a chart saying the bench test on strongest pistons but so far claimed would be those two. I take cosworth for strongest or hardest as you enquired. Cosworth has branched out to america recently.

isn't those JUN Super Piston Kits manufactured by Cosworth?

The JUN Super piston kit is manufactured by Cosworth Racing in Britain. They are designed for corresponding to high boost, high rotation and high response. This is produce by reducing blow-by gas as well as boosting response up. The material use this piton is special aluminum for forging use with a 400t manufacturing press into the mould. the ONLY time i saw a set of cosworth pistons was late last year in ssracing where they got a set of high compression 81mm pistons for b16a. beautiful. yeah it was RM3200. when i weigh it on my hand it was very light.

hard in terms of LONGEVITY should be fine. but if you have a bad tuned engine with improper fueling category, then it'll blow.

Ooohhhhh...Mahle pistons? These high - end pistons ( Mahle and Cosworth etc ) will cost you a lot of moolah, and you have to warm up your car properly ( at least 8 - 10 mins! ) bfr you can drive off. Reason be, these pistons does not seal up properly when cold. Only when it's warm, will these pistons expand to it's actual proper size, and only then you can rev the car off to the moon.

So, think twice bfr going for any forged pistons, especially the high end ones like Mahle and Cosworth.

I believe you're running a B20B bottom end. If you still want to rev your car over 9k RPM, maybe some oversized PCT pistons instead? But to have your B20B rev up to such levels, block bracing, better rods, maybe a stronger crankshaft, and an improved oil pan ( like from Mugen, Spoon, J's Racing etc ) is required. Also a better fueling circuit and maybe at least EManage as well. Don't forget your valvetrain components as well. This will cost you, at the very least, RM 10k.

mahle came out with one of the top range h22a pistons. yeah they are good and so does the rest of the forged piston families. i thought i saw the mahle piston sticker on one of the brownish drag civic from jb with the wheelie bar. :)

actually i'm driving an eg6 with B20 inside with B16B head.everything for the head i already got. in the block i'm using crower rods and stock piston and crank. planning to change of the piston first so want buy the right choice any suggest??headache about it already
