may i know....what do i need to do to convert the gtt34 to GTR34...i mean the exterior or bodykit only( look like GTR34 )......thanx ....

Basically EVERYTHING. The bonnet, front bumper, front diffuser, front wide fenders, rear bumper, rear diffuser, rear wing, rear wide fenders (this is the difficult one), side skirt, headlights (the mountings are different), the 'GTR' badge :tongue: , the 'GTR' 18" wheels, front mount intercooler (can consider exterior? GTT have side mount...), erm what else...

Why would you wanna convert anyway?

hai cmng... good suggestion.... but maybe he scared after installing the T88kit, the car value will drop cause next buyer may think ex owner abusing the car.... hehee... if do bodykit nicely, then ppl will see that the owner take care of the car very much....

R34 GTR front bumper and fenders cannot fit R34 GTT. I believe the bonnet is a bit longer, I dunno skagee told me one.

But what for you waste so much money doing this, R34 half cut not cheap

Get the masterpiece kit from East Bear, should be more affordable.

there are so many kits out there for the GTT....some looks better than the GTR....like IMPUL etc!!!

if the guy likes GTR looks...he sure can do it...since everything is possible!!

why he wants to do such things?? have u guys checked out how much are a r34 GTRs cost?? only little boys wif daddies money can afford a such things....ok ok or maybe some 'young' uncles or ah beng gangters

GTTs are like half the price of a GTR....even if he spends 20K extra to convert the body shell, he still got a lookalike GTR for paying more or less half the price!!!

GTT's will always be GTT... no matter wat you do.. you can only LooK like a GTR but Never Be a GTR!!

Be it Daddy's Money/Gangster/Ah beng... its still a Ganster/LiLBoy/Ah beng with a GTR34! Are you driving one yourself?? or are you a GTT owner ?
and you're Damn Right.. its Half The Price!! or Less Than HAlf the Price.. be it in Malaysia or Aussie!

Jebu: errr Yes , the GTR front bumper could fit the GTS 33 or GTS 34..its just that the bonnet of the GTR needs to fitted along with the GTR side fenders as the GTS (33, 34) actually has a shorter nose/front.

Coming back to the question on; Why would anyone want to convert a GTS to a GTR anyway? I believe that besides for aesthetic reasons;

The GTR body parts, namely the front bonnet is alot lighter than the GTT's. The weight difference is quiet noticable and I would truly recommend it for anyone wanting to shed weight on their GTT.

The GTR bumper offers better ventilation as compared to the GTT's. Water tempt and intake tempt are significately reduced due to its design.

Diffussors and wings allows better aerodynamics inturn making high speed driving more stable thus safer.

The stiffening bars and plates found on the GTR allows a much more rigid ride , allowing a much more precise and predictable handling

The wider wheels matched with a lower profile tyre found on the GTR does a lot for the car's handling.

Putting all this upon consideration , I guess maybe it isn't such a bad idea after all considering that the price of the GTR34 is almost twice the price of the GTT

nopes...not intend to either...but stock gtr bumper ugly...but i guess stock gtt bumper even more ugly so i guess just get a better bumper as ur liking...everybody got different eyes taste....some got 4 eyes somemore :D

after that u got space for IC upgrade too...cos stock GTT bumper sure cannot fit properly a big fat juicy front mount IC

u could always be the first to do its body conversion...

Hey ManR34!

One way to make the standard bumper look a lot better is to modify the lower lip off a 34GTR bumper and attach it on the standard GTt bumper. I have seen this being done and it looks pretty good. Should not be too expensive either. Only thing is that if you decide to buy an ori GTR lip then you're gonna be damned dissaponted coz the trailing edge will not line up with the GTt bumper. You can see photos of this on the East Bear site. Quite nice. I am planning to do something like this to my car too...

my bumper is the one with the middle black lip that says "skyline" in the middle....not sure can fit anymore shit below? i wait till u done it....where r u gonna do it?

I agree that the Impul bumper is the coolest looking bumper for the ER34! Problem is that mine is a 4 door and there is nothing to match the impul one for the rear of my car :(.

Anyway check this out and see the way the lower lip is added on....

PS, I got a lip from a 34 GTR and held it in place on my standard GTt bumper to compare. Looks quite nice! :) Only thing is that the rear end of the lip flares outwards a bit to match the wider guards of the GTR.
