Hai All,

I'm currently driving a stock 4G93P Putra. Looking forward to upgrade and change the engine. To all sifu's out there, is it possible to mount an FTO engine inside my putra.
Need a little bit of detail also on pricing as well as where to do it.
Appreciate your kind reply...thank you:angel_smile:

Fto engine is a mivec 2.0 terbalik verison (gen2)..Tis engine onli can convert in waja,gen2,perdana..if reli wan to covert tis engine to putra need a lots of modification..juz lik putra mod evo4..but there is a gen1 version also using mivec2.0..means can masuk to putra oso n not so much modification..but yet depends on the mechanic who do tis converting..correct me if im wrong..

hmm.. i saw before FTO's MIVEC engine.. it's kinda long in width.. not tat sure if can fit into ur putra bro.. but if u find out can fit in ur putra engine compartment then should be able to masuk FTO liaw.. cheers!

fto engine is nothing. there is a member here using the 3.0 engine from the gto in his satria.

thanx guys for your reply...wondering what other good engine N/A engine can be fitted..i mean..powerfull and reliable...

FTO engine too heavy for Putra. Get something from 4G9x family.

Any example..4G93T is not my option...is there any MIVEC 2.0 which is not the terbalik type?...what could be the best setup for putra..regardless of Turbo or non turbo???..
I also have problem on where to modify my car..dunno where is good...

seriously, there is. no joke. ask around. maybe you will find out who he is.

Yes, a member named ramsing had a 6G72TT from a GTO installed on his Wira once. The engine bay is rather tight.

Anyway, if u want a NA 4G engine, take the 4G63 from a non-turbo Galant instead. As for mounting, remember to use EVO1-3 ones. This type of engine is damn cheap. I bought one for RM 800 last time. However, make sure it comes with full wiring and ECU.

upgrade to GSR Turbo or Evo (I-III), its more easy and your car is even more faster...if i'm wrong, please correct me. Tq.

the 4g63 n/a engine so cheap ah?2000 cc right?can fit into wira or not?

I recalled Ramsing (Siva) last time fitted a huge 6G72TT GTO 3.0L twin-turbo engine in his Wira sedan & it's a superb jump of BHP & torque for the car of that size.

kob3bryant, yes the NA version of 4G63 is pretty dirt cheap (ard the region of RM800-1100 depending on mileage/condition) & it's suitable for Wira/Satria/Putra with minor mounting mods. If u dun wanna go through these mounting mods, then get urself a set of LanEvo 1-3 mounting & waalaa...... perfect fit! Not forgetting the 4G63 NA engine is very responsive as compared to 4G9x series.

jz put in 4g63 turbo or 4g93(E1-E3) turbo.
is fit to ur putra.

Yeah. RM 800 but no ECU or wiring. Had to pay additional RM 300 for them.

Wira sure can fit n make sure u use EVO mountings.

BTW, it's illegal to fit onto Wira body these days unless 1.8 model.

WIth soaring petrol prices... many people would prefer to revert back to NA.

so late to know about that man!even 4g93 is much more expensive than 4g63.if installation also cost around rm3k plus the ecu adn wiring.
