yo guys here.....i got 1 thing wanna ask or discuss here about Ford.

There is Ford Lynx RS 2.0 in the Ford website b4.......but right after Ford Focus exist.....the website seems like totally removed the Ford Lynx RS already.....

that Ford Lynx RS 2.0 is a damn cool car leh.....banned already ah? hahaha how come website looks like do not even want to let people know there is Ford Lynx RS existance. if i am not wrong the price b4 car industry drop was RM116k without insurance.

I think they wouldn't want to have their own "internal competition". The new Ford Focus is also 2.0 i think and selling 2 models of the same class ain't very good.

BTW, the new focus look quite cool... it is fast and powerful too (according to TOP GEAR). Maybe u can consider the focus if you looking for an upgrade.. not a bad car i should say...

not bad.... but getting a spareparts is a headache.... k not go to chop shop and get it but must go Ford SC to get it....u need to wait for the parts but for other JDM cars, the parts wait for u,....

Ford cars are extremely nice to drive. Reliable. In Malaysia, ppl underestimate the true potential of Ford. The handling. The power. etc....

I've owned the Mazda Familia 1985 1.5 (same chassis as the Ford Laser 1985)and Ford Laser TX3 1990 1.8.

But as usual, spare parts are a REAL pain to find.

The availbility of these cars are purely depends on demand and supply, not to mention the huge taxation on these car by our lovable Govt, that kill the affordability of average Malaysian.....

ya Ford Lynx RS really a reasonable price car with nice and cool looking sport car somemore very rare on the road.....haha this make the car even better.

i think not much modifications needed......maybe change to bigger and nicer rims according to your desired one.

Lynx = Mazda 323
Lynx RS = Mazda Protege

Lynx / 323 is the last Ford - Mazda re-badged model. The new direction of Ford-Mazda is no longer a re-badged model, but each company (includes Volvo & Jaguar) to produce their own model but sharing the chasis/platform. The Lynx / 323 replacement is Focus = Mazda 3. Other models are:

Focus = Mazda 3 = Volvo S40
Mondeo = Mazda 6 = Volvo S50 (??)

So Lynx is no longer in production. Here are the pix of Lynx variant - 1.6, SV & RS (and my Focus oso:regular_smile: )

White RS was the latest batch, so Lynx RS 2.0L comes in 3 colour, black, red & white. You can see the white RS in that picture. There are plenty of RS in Labuan. More photo on the link on my signature. cheers...

RS no longer in production here. Moved on to Focus. But Ford has a few units to sell (company cars). Less than 80 or 90 depending on age. Good deal those.

the last time i checked the price..was last year and it was about 86k.
shud be lower now..but not sure how low..check out motor trader
