From all straight head-to-head comparisons that I've seen so far, the Evos always win, especially when it comes to time attack on the track, even with the Evo X! The most glaring was the comparison in Top Gear, whereby the older std Evo 8 lap times was still a bit faster than the newer (at the time) 330HP STI Peter Solberg Edition, while the same generation Evo FQ320 beats the PS Edition by 2 or 3 seconds around the track! Probably only 22B STI Type-C, & RA stand a chance of beating the respective Evos of their time, that's why I said "may" but not a sure thing though. :)</span></p></blockquote><p></p>
