ok, last night i discovered that my engine jerks.

cruising at about 60-70km, suddenly the car jerk as though its not getting enough fuel.

what could be the cause?

it jerks like once or twice then back to normal...

Fuel pump? Injector ?
Just my 2cents. Let the pro answer u better.

or mayb trottle boby stuck...mostly is fuel pump or injector...

Fuel pump...is the most likely the cause of that

my eg9 used to have this problems, it happens when i stop my car paying the toll.. then start to drive back.. the whole engine nearly shut down and jerking like nobody business... you can feel like no fuel in the engine... then my mechanic just clean up the air intake throttle body... everything is smooth... he claims that the open pod air filter normally will gives this problems after 3 years.. the hks filter melts due to the heat of the engine.... ;)

thanks for all the feedbacks. my foremen told me, it could be spark plugs, plug cables or JENG JENG JENG... distributor...

cleaned my spark plugs just now, service/polish my distributor a lil bit, hopefully everything ok.

fuel pump - changed not more than 1 year ago
injector - cleaned it like 4 months back
fuel filter - changed it while i clean the injector
throttle body - serviced it like 6 months back.

when did you clean your spark plugs?did this happen after cleaning the plugs or before?

before bro. just cleaned my plugs yesterday. so far so good... but i never really drive around... YET...

Sometimes it can be the fuel pump relay...

mesti maaa.... after raya mesti kacau poket punya....
hehe... tried to open n dismantle ur distributor... check for oil seal... maybe there's some oil
over there.. kasi tiup2 then change new seal... become ok edi....

i face this prob b4 raya huhu had to change fuel pump,fuel tank set,fuel filter,service injector....even the plug also change the car also want to raya

as for opening the distributor, already did. sandpaper some parts of it also..

so far so good, i havent really tested it yet tho..

okla, drove my car last night... so far no jerking again.

i guess sandpaper-ing the distributor and cleaning the spark plugs worked for me.
