Engine code: MF716......MF series?

Halo every sifu and hondarians,
Do anybody know the specs for MF series engine????

I can't find any informations or article regarding this type of engine..............

Feel very frustrated....

From what I know, it is a local assemble civic'97 EJ7 SOHC Vtec....1.6cc (auto) engine code: MF716
That's the only information I got..........

Do anybody also have this type of engine?
Is it same as D series engine? or because it is local assemble so they use different type of engine code....

yes....! just i oso confuse bout this code in Jap, coz they using D16A for this njin no matter vtec onot.......:X-: need to confirm it again.

How about the ECU???? Which type there are using???

May I know where is the exact location of the ECU????

the ECU is located inside the passenger side, where u put ur left leg there. dunno how to xplain, but u can see the plastic cover beside ur front door speaker.

the last digit is the year manufactured... 7 for 97, 8 for 98... if not mistaken..

there is many model/ code out there, Y7 is non-v, Y6/Y8 is Vtec, Z6 is Vtec-E.
