Want to ask all sifu, how many bushings are there under the chasis of EK?

*Do they all wearout very soon?
Coz i had changed them less than 6 months, now same noise come again

I had mine all replaced 10 months ago and it still works like a new car for me. There is no quick way or cheap way, replace them all and only use HOP or live with that noise.

I suspected others than bushes produced the noise. better check personaly. last time mine came from part I haven't expected!!! One of old man showed to me where the noise came from. happy hunting!

Hikaru san, then do u know how many bushings r there?
And how much did u got to changed it all in 1time?
I'm thinking of doing this too... coz in this way wud actually save up on labour charge, instead of visiting the workshop every month.

Btw wat do u mean by HOP, izit a brand?

Thanks 4 ur advise.

HOP = honda original parts

i tried using PU bushes last time on my civic EJ8... great but i couldn't tell how long they lasted since i sold the car in mid 2005

well I hate to say this but this question has been asked many many times as well like color code and 99 bodyparts conversion. If you do a search then you should get the answer. Here's the previous thread:

Did my from bushing a few weeks ago, there are 3 rubber bushes (1 Big one which you will need hidraulics Press and 2 smaller ones which can be replaced by hand) and a front Anti Roll Bar linkage. Full front bushing will cost about RM400 (original honda).

Back bush will be more expensive as you will need to replace the whole control arm and hidraulics press for one big bushing, total would be somewhere around RM700.

found this thread, but is that a complete set or not? Or will this set good enuf, to stop it from making the noise?

My problem is only, each time when aft serviced for the 1st 2nd week is OK. Then the same problem comes out again... Arggg.... How come the noise does not come out all at once so I can get it fix once and forall...

Hikaru san, I read tru the thread... saw a diagram looks like a streering rack.
Do streering rack have any bushings???

Coz I have a feeling like my when I retrive back the streering to staight line on a U-turn wif a little accelleration, then I start to get the GREK..GREK... sound... wif a little jerk on the streering.... !@#$%^ ARRRRRGGGG wat is it????

Any of u guys got any suggestion about the SUPER PRO BU bushing?
Actually which one is better?
HOP or Super PRO?
Any comment, for anyone's using Super PRO?

those rubber really farking expensive, how long can they last? i bought my car till now never change yet. ori or the after market better?

EVO bro how long u got ur car? Dat why i want 2 know price 4 HOP or go aft mkt???

Opt-ion,

Well, if u decide 2 keep ur car 4 long period of time, then invest in those aft mkt 1s as they can last 4 a very long period of time, some say can last forever. those aft mkt will make ur car firmer n rigid then ur those rubber 1s. But if u decide 2 sell in a couple of years time then just get da norm rubber 1s as u dont feel paying extra 4 someone who is gonna take over ur ride in da future.

Thx, u 4 d advise... 2nd. Do u know the price difference? If it's not much difference I don mind settle for a better one...

buy super pro bush....satisfaction guarantee!! price? must be more expensive than HOP but not so much diff on certain parts!!!

but for u'r problem better u check the tie rod end + rack end + drive shaft....one of these must be wornt out!!!

he is professional in chasis tuning n suspension tuning... he cannot hear any kluk2 sound for his car... sure faster go troubleshoot it n rectify the problem... haha...
sumore his bparts fitting measured precisely untill u can see all gap is symetric like taj mahal... hehe

OPt-ion,

PRice wise? As wat avantasia said earlier, it's gonna b more expensive than HOP bushes. I know KSP is selling Energy suspension for RM2K plus. It should b whole set. The price stated ere does not include installation charges. So it could goes up to 3K plus 2 get everything done.
Cheers.

Wor... 3k plus ar!

Ok, I got and offer from big chopshop to replace all 10 arm (6 rear and 4 front) with JDM parts for RM800 with installation.

Is it recommended? Instead changing all the bushes?

This geduk-geduk and kluk-kluk song makes me crazy laa... aiyaa
