EK '96 Bumper Stripes

Hi

Esp. for EK owners '96-'98 model... How do we remove the stripe (i dun know what they call it) - the stripe/trims at the corner of the front/rear bumpers... seems it's attached using clips... can i just grind it & cement or do we really have to change the bumper... Anyone who's done it before... care to share?

that cibai thing can be remove 1 don woli....after remove it then cement it ..but i don think wil long last loh....

ya that thing is really an eyesore... even if u have rs/type r grille ur car won't look nice wif that thing on the bumpers...

yeah,before this i'm thinking to do same.But saw 1 at another EK 96 did this,crack edi.Or anybody know which place do better or have to change with 99 bumper?

nopes...if u fiber them correctly shouldnt be any problem..just that the matter of finding the correct shop lor...

These bumper molding are highly sought after by those American EK owners. USDM 96~98 EK hatch or sedan don't come with it and clean bumper.

It looks nice and cool depends on how you do your car.

I plan to leave it there, then just add on (type-r or sir) lips without painting it ..

my car is silver, which mean gonna be .. black on those strip and skirting around ... the rest are silver.. if i would get a CF bonet... is the car looks nice on that ?

shong...no worries man..coz saw one white (also with Domani rear) doing thesame as u...leaving the mold in black, the SiR lip in black....kinda nice also..its like EG6 lorrr

I did tat on mine also,cement+fiber....so far i been using it almost 1 yrs.Before i do tat,i heard alot of ppl saying tat it will crack after using few month but my fren(pain shop owner)did a gd job on it.....

that's using SIR lips .. how about type-r .. would it looks weird.. i like type-r lips .. but then just scare after come out not nice .. ~

my friend kena con, fromt SIR behind type-R, and the person told him his skirt is SIR .
