I had installed the Eibach prokit for my cefiro....

firm cornering but very bumpy wor....

how ar???

Law, i heard u hv a magic ride using ur prokit.... why diff?

thks.

i am using 18" rims....

have not check the tyre pressure wor....

Gee...18" on 40series rubber...can't expect it to be comfy liao...
I think Pro Kit just drop the ride..won't make it tat stiff la...

I think check tyre pressure loh.

agree with dream...if urs is 40 series tyres, cant help u...myself, i am using 45 series and still ok...are u using original absorber?

vk9, bear in mind, with 40 series tyres, u cant have 32psi as recommended by Nissan...because there aren't much tyre wall, u need to pump at least 35psi, which of course its a lot bumpier. if u pump 32psi or below, u risk ur rims being damage by pothholes etc...best size for cefiro: 225/45/18

btw, i am pumping my tyres @ 34psi

i was using the 18" rims with original shocks before changing to eibach prokit..... no that bumpy that time wor...

actually with prokit, the ride will be firmer but not as firm as adjustables of sport spring. but coupled with ur low profile tyres, it will be bumpier than ur stock setting.

i think mine is on 35psi.... made a mistake to get the 40 series than the 45 series....

really confused....

if i just take out the rear pair of eibach prokit, will it help?

not repair... i mean take out the eibach at the back and use the stock spring...

ic...but if use stock spring for the rear, ur car's rear will be a lot higher than ur front...looks weird la...

u got the point also... look like i am stuck....

thanks for the advice.

Vk...the problem is probably the matching between your pro-kits and your stock springs.

Your pro-kits are at least 20% stiffer than your stock springs. Meanwhile, when new, I estimate that your stock shock may have just matched the pro-kit stiffness. But after aging a bit (6 months is all is takes), the springs are now much stiffer than the absorbers can accomodate. So, it will appear to be bumpy cos you have insufficient damping.

Only thing I can think of is for you to change to slightly stiffer shocks...or put in Koni adjustables. The Konis are the best bet because you will be able to tune your ride a bit.

hi

When I first install the prokit, I can feel the confort. But after a while, the front car become bouncy again as the front absorbers seem to be too soft. Then I change the front to KYB stiff absorbers. Feel firm but a bit stiff but still acceptable to me generally except when on certain yellow line approaching toll.

Now I feel the rear tokico too soft liaw.....
