D_clothes,
meaning urs is P30....very common..n d so-called "2 level" is ur knock sensor board ler...all stock DOHC VTEC ECUs has it....n wat coding r u toking abt?....just get urself a manual ECU,prolly a VAFC n ur ready 2 tune ur car.....

Yeah ,

But that is the big question . for Manual B16A ecu izzit P30 as well ?

Because i see some of my friend same Engine but come in Manual the computer box a bit bigger but only 1 level .

And also is there any diffrent in Obd1 and 2 ?

Brother X my Computer box is auto B16A that' why i need to change .

I went and ask whether the auto is able to be modified , but the price is expensive .

got differences in obd1 n obd2.

just get a manual p30 ecu ler.....prepare rm400 to rm500.....haha

or get a aftermarket rechipped ecu then a vafc to tune it....

okay so P30 ecu is about that price .

What is the diffrent with single platform and the one with 2 level platform ?
How i know is a P30 ecu ? Cant it be a modified auto one as well ?

Yes, Manual and auto both are also P30.
USDM and JDM P30 ecus are different in size. Read this http://www.autoserve.8m.com/StepByStep_OBDI/Chip_Installation_OBD_I.html
The cheapest way to go around is buy the chipping kit..i think RM30plus, get someone good with soldering/electrical engineering and modify the ECU. The fact that your ECU is auto, makes it easier to do it. I've actually done this mod myself. But you gotta take the risk of burning it le... After this , just get a racing chip like Feels, Mugen or Spoon then only use VAFC to fine tune.

bro,

can u type out the code under the barcode of ur ecu?

to differenciate, the numbers with 9xx is auto.

0xx is manual....

so can u type out urs?

just asked a few shops....

1. manual p30 = rm700....

2. manual ori spoon p30 = rm1000....

i believe can find around rm600....

haha.....i guess u have to save more money...hahaha

at the moment i just using 1 computer from my mechanic , malu la borrow so long form him already .

Brother EGfan ,
That is good information you provided on the visual of the computer box .
Then i guess my is JDM version . Where can i get those component from ?

All ,

If any one got any stock b16A manual which 1 2 sell do let me know , but would like to trade in as well .. ...

The cheapest way to go is still DIY,
1st option
Trading in your ECU with the chipped socket = RM500-600.
Buying another chip from the shop RM200, but you can get cheaper outside (PM me i'll teach you)
2nd option DIY. Email the person on the website, he will deliver to you. I bought 3 years back only USD10 =RM38. Pay someone to solder RM100?
Buy racing chip (PM me i'll teach you)
Spend less than RM200...hahaha

brother ,

Where is your location ? hahahahah

Will PM you for help .
And how much is the racing chip ?
