ct9a problem

Hi guys

recently my ct9a is giving me some hedaches. getting funny woong woong woong sound whenever my car travels around 40kmh and above. i really cant stand the noise anymore. anyo
ne knows what's the problem. no noise during idle with clutch engaged or disengaged. the noise is even there when im trvelling around 90km/h even when i put i to free gear. could it be my ayc ? pls help :( car has 30k mileage.

besides that, im also having some boost problems. car wont go higher than 0.6 bar :( mine is a 01 model which ive just purchased. any comments from the evo gurus are much appreciated.

im a nooby here, can u pls explain how do i check my bearings? many buddies told me most e7 has this ayc or transmission problems? pls help cheers. im from sabah. there's no good mechs here :frown:

Yup,
It could be your AYC. Better take it for a check. Flush out the oil and replace it with a thicker one.

Saw before the AYC oil from a friends car. Look really black and thick as a glue furthermore, it has a strong burning smell.

My friend just got his E7, does the ADC light will lit simutenously for all (Tarmac,Gravel and Snow) ?? Pls advise.

dun think they will light up simultaneously.. try pressing the acd button and c whether there's any difference?

bro, bugger!!!! seems most of the AYC problems comes from evo 7.

i also have an evo 7. sent back to workshop because of the lights thing u just described. for mine, they say its the ayc pump koyak.

dun even bother to buy 2nd hand here...i found 3 of them 2nd hand pumps, install all in also same problem. get them new from japan.

plus pm limt for more help. he used to have the same problem...now his car okay. he has a fren Andy Lee to help.

anyone with evo 8 have any problems with AYC/ACD???

lanevo6, the 3 ACD lights dun light up all at once. they only light one 1 at a time depending on what setting u press on the ACD button, tarmac/gravel/snow

Just to double confirm.I 've driven one b4 but only 1 light up. But my friend's E7 initially ok, after a few seconds all lit up and then got strange sound mmmmm looks like coming from the ayc.

So far SG E8 reported zero AYC problem but E7 hv a few.

Aiyah all the light lighted up at ones is usually the error code and you need to have a computer to be plug in and read everything (all info on your sensors, code etc and etc except Air Fuel).

Once you have clear all the fault codes, then the car will be ok. Sometimes Evo is like that, most of the time just have to plug in the computer (hand held, don't ask me the name cause I'm also blur) and see how is everything.

Subaru cars also have fault codes so they go through the same process..

SMS me if you need my friends advise as he service my car and I'm very satisfied with the work and explanation. Please note that I'm not here to say which workshop is good or bad but rather want to give you all some piece of mind when comes to servicing and trouble shooting a car.

u mean he disable the AYC function? Or HOW did he TAKE AYC OFF ? if no more AYC, then wats running the 4 WD system? Or has it become 2FWD only ?

Silver: Yup, its Andy, located in Taman Maju Jaya, ex racer and his main business is mudguard and spraying service. He serviced his close friends cars the last time and suddenly now he taken in more cars. Services Subaru and Mitsu

don't they diagnose/ trouble shoot electronic problems (esp the fault codes) using Mitsubishi's MUT II device? I tink that's what they use.
Can check with Mitsubishi Malaysia lah. THey bring in EVO 9 so I'm sure they can service.

local mitsu is still lousy at the moment. speaking of which...am back in action
