Civic EJ Door Lock Button Mechanism

Hi guys,

currently my passenger door buttons going to koyak already. Sometimes works when i press alarm button to open door but most of the time doesnt open.

anyone knows where i can get a set for 4 door for the mechanism. And How much does it cost for a used one in chop chop shop or a new set (ori/local)?

Sorry dun really know how to define the malfunction of the door button lock mechanism.

Most likely the motor is almost dead. I got extra door lock mechanism and power window motor as well, full set for four doors. Let me know if you are keen.

Actually u can fixed it less than 100. I fixed my at 70 only. Just change the door lock mechanism for alarm. Something like a gun. My one having same problem like urs, after changed no problem at all. Can get in any accessories shop.

It's the projectile type, aka gun type. So far I have never seen the driver side one with built in mechanism of center locking system. All using add on projectile system with factory brackets to attach on door panel. Do you have picture of the said genuine honda mechanism?

Which one you want or you want the whole set? I'm letting go cheap.

You can get it done at any accessary shops like sasuke said, but what they do is they add a projectile system and bypass it on your existing motors. In order to get that projectile attached on your door, they definitely have to drill a hole on your door panel and place metal clip on your existing metal rod which pull the lock up and down. These metal clips will get loosen over time because it keeps pulling left and right or up and down. Hence you will hear some funky noise from your door later.

actually, i do not know how this mechanism looks like inside. just wanted to get a replacement of the existing set which is almost dead.

i'll chk on it today n let u know.

another thing, does it reduce the noise when the button is pushed up or pulle down during on/off alarm, coz currently the noise is quite noticeble. :regular_smile:

Mine before this gun type.after my key hole been 'kopak' by F**kin theft and stole my notebook,my car can't lock anymore(lock mechanisme faulty at white box inside the door).Then went to kedai potong,bought 1 set for RM50.but look at centrel lock pump different.Not gun type.The wire
code same & bracket not seems customize as before.
But now facing power window problem on driver side,anyone had spare to sell the power window motor?:confused_smile:

I got the power window motor too. Any side or full set I have them all, PM me if keen.

Hi bro, nak tumpang kejap... is advisable to add another central lock like a button or whatsoever....
instead of using the central lock on the driverside doorlock to open lock for passenger everytime???

just press your unlock button on the alarm remote ler...

I've changed for all the 4 doors for my car recently, you're right, for the driver side is different from the rest, it looks slightly smaller & the price is also slightly cheaper, it should be about RM 220 per unit from ORIGINAL HONDA brand new.. the OEM one is made in Thailand & the set I bot is made in Japan :_: :_:

Sorry for late reply... me went outstation recently.

Mine cost about RM45 for the driver's door and RM30 each for the other doors.. bought at normal acc shop only.. Yeah, it is smaller than proton gunz..
