 no one know? all use injection car? no carburetor car's owner ah?

i also carburetor wira but i also donno wat's the screw used for!
but i adjust it b4
now when morning my car will not get higher RPM when engine cool!
i even have to press the fuel in order to get higher rpm to worm up my car!
so don't simply adjust both of it

regard

 oh .. Which one ? The red color that Screw ?
If that is the case .. The red color one should be Fuel Choke ...
Anywhere .. i just want to know more about these few things .. I know the Air one is on behind .. That day i saw the EON guy adjusting the screw .. But i forgot to ask them these ..

;)

I adjust all the three b4 ai also dono wat’s their function!
I also want to find out!
;)

yalo ... SIFU .. SIFU .. come and tell please ...
:D

the red one's to increase or decrease the idle...the blue one, i'll let u know later..hehhe got to go back to check on my iswara..

 The red color one i adjusted before .. when morning start the car .. the RPM go up very high .. but when engine hot .. it will become normal ... I suspect it is fuel choke ... below blue color one i not sure ...

 i also confused ..

red one - choke (if not mistaken) or fast idle srew

blue one - idle adjuster :)

Blue - Choke Opening adjuster
Red - Valve Opening adjuster

Adjusting both of them will affect the air fuel mixture for high speed.
It will also affect your warm up RPM.

yeah yeah correct..

red one - is for adjusting the choke.. so that when engine cold that time idling speed higher..

blue one.. is for idling speed..

both can effect air fuel mixture wan meh? :o but then i tot there is another screw for mixture wan? :) ohh.. yeah there is also one more screw for the vacum thingie.. its to adjust ur idling speed when ur air con is on.. if im not wrong.. its situated on the otherside of the carb.. haha.. good luck guys.. :)

hope.. i gave the info was correct la.. cos err.. after since playing and removing my mikuni twin choke carb.. i hardly open engine bay adi.. tsk tsk tsk ;) :)

He is rite @

I've played around with the red one b4, yeah it's for adjusting yr auto choke's idling rpm. If u want higher auto choke rpm, just tighten the screw... and I found that the Protn ignition key's sidewall is just right for this job!

Cstung,

so what's the choke opening adjuster (blue circle) used for? How does it affect the rpm and/or air/fuel mixture?

FYI the idling adjustment screw is at the other side of the carb (front passenger side), and it's that ribbed screw which u can adjust with just your fingers. Adjust lower for lower idling fuel consumption! But not too low lah, or else yr engine will die off if u let got of the clutch a bit too early.

 huh ? so many results .. which one is idle adjuster?
blue or red color?

Esky .. "ribbed screw which u can adjust with just your fingers" .. where ah? where it located?

Thanks all!

 okie .. okie .. no problem ..
thanks for inform ..

so far i using 4g15 carb for my car..not wira but saga...around the same but i dun hav the long long spring stuff...so far the pic u show is the throotle linkage side..i never kacao there...

the one on the other side got two screw...one is idle when ur air con on..another one is air con off...play with that is ok lah...the a/f mixture screw got a forumner post b4..is on the back of the carb.

:D checked already .. blue color is idle adjuster. today morning i adjusted a bit .. coz my idle too low ...

cheer!

let doc try aaa...
red one to adjust auto choke. rare use, just in de morning u see ur engine enng with high rpm.
blue one to adjust ur idle, turn it to get the best idle ( hot engine condition ).
sifu ok ker,.
