Hello! any recommendation for brake pads? which brand to use on a wira 1.3?

EBC Brake Pad.....less dust, dirt & noise....great bite, last longer.....

if u wan Street Sport, try EBC Green Stuff. 0-600 celcius, plug & play- rm3xx even u down hill fr genting, juz only using brake oso no problem.....

as ur is wira 1.3, reco u use EBC Black....0-350 celcius.

try mintye...1++ only or u can go for brandix metal king.....

bro ferodo really so bising ah...shit lah like that..hahahaha

i recommend u project u if u have large pocket
hehe..
me twin pots using EBC black stuff
its more than enough :)
170 in kakimotor for evo3.. for urs might be cheaper.. dust got la but just wax ur rims and keep la .. got dust just pour ur drinking water.. kekekke

wau! all recommend EBC black...how much is it?

by the way, how much are the OEM brake pads?

budget...not too sure...not too far away from OEM brake pads i guess..

waa..ebc green stuff RM300++ ar n dats for wira one?? kanasai..i tot less than RM200...

anyone can provide a rough price estimate for ebc green stuff pads, front gsr, rear evo...

anyone heard of testron or something like that?
RM63 per pair...

anyidea where to get EBC brake pads in northern region?

EBC black er... guyz.. if change right... onli change da front 2 pad? da back 1 how?

if change brake pads... do it either front or rear at any one time... coz if ur mech screw up.. u could imagine what can happen next...
furthermore.. new brake pads should be 'run in' together with the rotor/disc before it can brake at optimum performance. Have your caliper piston cleaned and lubricated while changing pads to avoid piston jams in the future. cheers!

Please dont use again OEM brake pad.is totally sucks. they will scratch your disc brake, what i mean is the disc brake surface will have wave if u try o feel it(only when is cold).coz the material of OEM brake pad is mixing with some sucks stuff.

what budget u are at? dun use ferodo... shitty brake pads. they squeek like gals... cibai
you're basing brake performance on its noise? doesn't make sense...

so...the MME porsches all squeal when they're braking into pits, means that they're brakes are shitty?

mine squeal also, everytime i pull to a stop....and i'm using bendix metalking...doesn't make them shitty...

cheers

i didn't say the brake performance sucks.. it's the noise... i'm using dunno what Ferodo Zero <-- the model.. i use bendix metalking b4 (mine doesn't squeal).... that is a good pad.. next change... i'll go for bendix metalking + again..

using trestor....rm63 per pair...
no diff from the OEM brake pads

lancelot_adolph : your axt can lock your brakes or not? somehow after 1month+ i can;t lock brakes when i apply the same pressure to the stock ones which lock at that pressure.

ferodo = cannot makan disc...cannot stop enough...
mintye = fairly good...not too expensive...easily affected by heat...
metal king = the valuest in money and performance...not easily affected by heat...but the hotter the more the pads grab the disc...but the brake pads makan the disc...after using a few brake pads...u might have to change ur disc...
other brands = too expensive...nto worth it...better upgrade master servo with metal king...can save more money...
