Blktop ECU over SVT Setup

Dear all sifu's, just wanna ask some question regarding Blkt ECU using on SVT Setup. Heard that no need to changed to Blktop wiring hardness also can do the conversion. Izzit true? What the equipment needed to the conversion? Blktop ECU and MAP Sensor? Also what the benefit from it? Apart from AFM to MAP.... Any performance gain or better FC? Anyone do b4? ... ... ...

when i first swap the engine, i din have the ecu. my engine and wiring all svt, so for temporary use, my mech just plug in the bt ecu. he say svt automatic wiring fits directly into bt's ecu (dunno his bt ecu is manual or auto). after that the car can drive around what.. no prob.. i think he got put in map sensor lar if no i dunno how it works. after that when i found a svt manual ecu, he have to mod the connector of the wiring to fit, i think maybe after that bt ecu cannot use anymore lor.. unless change the head again..

power wise i dunno, cuz i din drive it.

So that mean no need to change the wiring harness oredi la.. Just need to rewired the map sensor onli... But anyone done tis b4?

for manual need to change 1 socket..
for automatic no need.

need to wired in Map sensor only........

U can do jumper harness for SVT m/t,need to have BT ecu female socket and SVT m/t ecu male socket,find and wire Map sensor and Intake air temp sensor to SVT wiring,and also re-wire the fuel pump relay wire if u wanna use auto on/off fuel pump,if dont want to use,no need to do this.

Auto SVt ecu socket ngam with Bt ecu but manual SVt not ngam,only one socket not ngam,it's not hard if u know your stuff,hehe..i will do it to my Svt someday in future after my project is over,and yes somebody has done it before,our sifu Acoustic

But what if i use BT Auto Ecu on SVT M/T Wiring harness? I forgot i heard from who that BT A/T Ecu can be used in SVT M/T..

don't ferget the BT ECU has an Air Temp Sensor...

Your Ecu wont kaboom,unless u get the power pins wrong ler,i mean if u reverse polarity,then the ecu kaboom,hehe

Is there any advantages using BT ECU over SVT setup? Any performance gain?
If it really good, I might hunt for 1....

no need to hunt..i got 1 ecu..hehehe

anyway the benifit is way alot!!
no more restriction to engine due to AFM.
you can run open throttle the way blacktop should run.
performance gain is alot!! but must use trumpet
