btw all toyotarian sifuuus here....i wanna ask few question regarding to this 4AGE Black Top 20V 6 speed....

1.I get 2 noe dat there is sum engine tuned by Yamaha sum tune by Toyota is dat true? which 1 better?

2.Wat is da advantages of havin LSD couple wif 6 speed?

3.Can it loaded into ae111 1.3 chassis without any mod on bracket/ mounting?

4.Can i know wats da market or current price 4 a 4AGE Black Top 20V 6 speed wif LSD halfcut ?

5.Is there any good/ best recommendation 2 buy halfcut n also 2 convert location at klang valley

1. Yamaha only produce 3S eng i think and also some motorbike
2. many diff...but 95% 6sp doesn't hav lsd
3. only timing belt mounting hav to drill hole
4. no lsd 5k+, lsd dunno
5. kajang, kepong, sg besi, n many more

4A oso produce by yamaha .. as well as lot of other "toyota" engines .. cannot remember liau but i know 4A and 3S for sure laa ..
as for tuning .. the ECU is branded as toyota without 3rd party labels .. so not completely sure about who actually did the tuning but probably toyota laa ..

the 6 speed utilises the powerband of the stock 4A much better than the 5 speed ... although it can be expensive ... but IMO for driving pleasure and fun .. worth it laa

Certain 1970s' RG series toyota heads also developed by yamaha. In fact i remember i read that almost all heads under 2.5cc are developed by yamaha. I believe its some form of outsourcing or tech exchange.

my car become heavier when using lsd gearbox compared 2 previously (stock wif no modification)- if u go 4 drag race la, track race no xperience at all.....hehehe :-)
tested b4 wif my fren (small v in ef9 chasis), won every game, but after put lsd we're even....sometime lost..huhuhu :-(.... my pomen told me the lsd goes well wif modified engn or upgraded engn (lightened flywheel, competition clutch plate, extractor n racing cams).......if vicious lsd ok (wif stock engn)....

Bro im using the BT 5 Speeds LSD gearbox, but i dun have the problem like u said wo. most of the BT gearbox got LSD 1... but normal LSD la:_:

mine don hav laa... just installed it.... mayb my skill isn't good enuff, hahaha.... my previous 4agze engn did come wif lsd, change 2 blktop unluckily it didn't come wif lsd, need 2 top-up more money 2 get d lsd.....

haha so unlucky for u.... coz most BT half cut i bought also got LSD 1:_: i just changed my gearbox last month, the gearbox i bought also came with LSD.... so u using a 1 way or 2 way LSD?

1st the non LSD gearbox oil u mean, is call LSX gear oil. the different between the LSX and the normal gear oil is.... the LSX gear oil more thick then normal 1... the gearbox witch got LSD 1 must use LSX gear oil, reason is to protect the LSD....

hmmm..... OK, there is a way to differentiate 1.5 Way and 2 Way LSD by looking at the Drive Shaft Mount hole.

A 2 Way LSD (Clutch Type KAAZ) will have a hole the size of a Cigarette while a 1.5 Way LSD, well u can put your finger into it (bigger hole laaaa)

The hole I am talking about is something like u can see through all the way to the other side

somemore if u r using a non LSD gearbox then no need to use the LSX gear oil la, coz the LSX gear oil expensive then normal gear oil, and it will make ur car feel more heavy....
