if u wanna buy the ctr halfcut it will cost u around 10k to 13k...for Ek or EJ the maximum loan is only 4+k ...so u cannot expected full loan or higher loan from finance recently....so u figure it out okie....

the performance of course the ctr '98 -'00 is better than B16A...but many of civic owner here upgrade their ctr becoz of " talk cukup laju + talak cukup lingan maaaaa"...hehh hehhh hehhh just my opinion....

thanks for te opinions..
ermmzz.. overloan means loaning amount of cash higher than the car price?
hehe, my own term actually.. sorry if its confusing..
btw this is my case.. i'm planning to get a cheap EJ/Ek stock standard and then i wan it to be facelifted EK/EJ, so isit better to buy B16B since i getting type-r goodies from it?

a satisfying conversion takes time, lotsa money and patience....if u can bear the stended looks while looking for ctr stuff..then stended cheap ej is ok..if not..better look for decent/nice ej.... juz my 2 cent

Bro,

RM10 ~13K for CTR halfcut doesn't come wif bodypart and seats right??

Correct me if i'm wrong..
Cheers!

bro, if u dun mind not getting dasboard n several other stuff... u better go for B18CR.... it will satisfy u longer than B16A/B.... before u start to find a way to improve its performance...

last nite i got ctr b16b hafkat for 4K in my dream... when wakeup damn frust...
my opinion, i'll go for b18cr.. hehe

go for B18CR la.. if u use B16B then later kena smoke by B16A sure bengang punya. hehe. at least, B18C is 1.8ltr. Oh btw, 1.8 class didnt get deduction/discount in roadtax, unless you wanna go illegal with unregistering your engine. hehe. But then for me B16A is still the legend..

Hehehe.. last night dreamt b16b only cost 4k, tonight will dream get turbo kit for 1k? hehe.. in reality your car very fast already :D

go for b18c, you'll satisfy more but i wouldnt know.. not using b18c :p

What you guys think about B18C GSR (non Type R) compare to B16A on perfomance & also on getting after market parts ?? example: can a Type R cam & valve spring & other B16A common parts be fitted into a GSR engine?
