is there any diff between the various b series oil sumps, say between b16a and b16b, b18c type r

eh the 16b oil sump deeper isn't it harder to pump the oil up?

and how much is an oil sump for b18c arrr??? i suspect my oil sump not balance lar......change gaskett adi still leaking.......

small v and big v is not the same. tried to put big v oil sump to my small v before. it wont fit.

Wah.. that bad? Try to isolate the leak first.. if at one spot, why?

1) check for pits/scratches on the block and oil sump mating surface... if got, and that's the cause of the leak.. fill it with those special paste that can resist heat, sand a little and do a bit of finishing.

2) is it the gasket? (this sound kind of obvious.. but did you use a sealant, esp around the bolt/corner areas?

3) warping? Torque it down with slightly higher specs than norm.. not too much that you strip the thread or round the bolt heads.

4) some bolt holes are loose? rethread!
