Audio System for Satria Owner

Hello all....
Like myself a satria owner, I would like to know what's your suggestion for better audio system in my car. Perhaps including bugget and spec for low, medium and high. Can help us???

ICE is limitless. I guess it boils down to ur budget. Then only all the sifus here can suggest what u play with. Unless u have a limitless budget.. then wonders is on ur way.

Ok.... if like that, can all sifoo in here give budget and spec for anyone have budget as low as 500(low), less than 2k(medium) and over 2k(high).

hmm, depends what you want for the money u pay. Do you need a HU? what do you want to achieve?

I can offer u the following
ADS P450.2 or PPI PCX-440 - Rm1.1k
Helix Exprit HXS 136 - RM1k
Helix Deep Blue subwoofer - RM 700
Helix Deep Blue subwoofer with factory box - RM 775

Take an amp and the component set and subwoofer for RM2.6k and I'll give u an option of the factory box or a Monster Interlink 200 (2M) cable extra.

mmm original speakers r? For the 1.3/1.5 they dont have speakers in the doors but the 1.6 has them. Its a 5 1/4" if not mistaken.

i'm not sure abt satria,but a 5 1/4 fits nicely in my wira 1.5 front door panel...

i assume all satria/wira are using the same size.. so 5.25 " correct?

usually when i asked about what size of speakers can fit most shop will say 6" also can masuk maa... but dunno whether it is plug n play.

heh since we're in this topic i also wanna know setup ice system in satria.. budget around 1.5k looking for sq, need a new HU, dowan woofer cos no space for my boot later(or got alternative?).. but can still get the nice bassy sound without woofer ah?

Ermm...1.6 dun have speakers on the door also. Proton as usual not so generous. Those 5 1/4" are from MMC's Mirage, which I think a minority of satria owners had already changed to. Only the new Wira SE have door speakers so far...not too sure for other models of Proton though. :rolleyes:

I had rear speaker(4-way), front (dashboard 3" 2-way) and tweeter. what else should I put to make my audio system much better. My budget less than 1K.

if u dont want to use a sub, u must use a mid bass at least 6.5" speaker in rear.. to produce lower frequency bass... and u cant pump ur volume so high, as it would spoil the speaker.

beatnik, I also drive a satria. If you want to install speaker on the doors, becareful to make sure the speaker depth is ok... or else if the speaker magnet is too deep, water will kena your speaker. If you want to plug and play, 6 inch speaker usually need to do some sort of housing, protection from the rain water. Just my experience.
