Anyone Know How To Modified 4g13??

- high performance air filter
- 4-2-1 extractor + piping + bulet + mufler
- beter engine oil
- 14inch sport rim
- volt stabilizer (old car so need tis to stabilizer ur car voltage)
- lowered spring - make it beter in cornering so can turn easier

extra:~
- remove spare tyre (car feel lighter)

wat else? so far is like tat...not enuf? gotta transplant engine lo....:_:
 
save some money and transplant 4g91 engine. saves u a lot in fuel consumption and u get a nice digital aircond set as well. just my 2 piece opinion. cheers

i think even an evo engine can fit in your car!!!. heheheheh. it's a matter of road worthiness and compliance with jpj. best engine for your car i think is the 1.6 mirage (if i'm not mistaken) if u insist on transplanting 4g91, u have to change your engine mountings coz your car dont have the same mountings as the lancer model. my 2 piece opinion. i guess some other sifu would like to elaborate on this matter.
 
Well for now if u gotta modify the engine mounting , it will not approved by JPJ. I think can go for 4g92 mivec. Or play with weber.Remember , stock satria brake is really fucked up , upgrade that if u intend to go for more power . Handling first then power comes later.

4g13 satria... save up and convert to 4g92 mivec la... more power... umphh...
but if u wanna start off with minor mods, here's some:
- 4-2-1 extractor, 1.8" piping, midbullet, straight flow muffler
- open-port air filter
- powerzone hi-cam
- port n polish
- weber carburettor (DCOE or DCNF)
- 13" rims + low profile tyres
- remove spare tyre, rear seats and any removeable heavy stuff

as TermiziYeoh said, handling is vr important as well... get good brakes and better brake pads, good suspension setup, strengthen ur chassis....

more info, try PM kwai... he last time used to drive satria 1.3L... now his monster change to 4g92 mivec.... u'll get more direct info from him...
 
Sorry mistaken as SAGA just now . Post edited . Like what skywalker said is true but will cost u as transplanting a mivec engine. Decide whether u want to stick with your current engine or go for Mivec. As u decide to transplant engine then dont do anything for now just save up for engine transplant cost. If u intend to keep your stock engine then follow what skywalker said. Get some bars too . Tighten up your chasis .
 
saga cant install front stabalizer bar right ? if install straight on the absorber mounting will spoil the absorber ...

so wat bars can put on the saga ?

ultra racing bars.... they weld the bars to the chassis... not like others which are screwed to the chassis...:regular_smile:

how much of improvement r u seeking bro? If u need a mild 1... then change ur filter to high-flow type like K&N n 4-2-1 extractor system n correct settings of exhaust will do the job well...... If u seeking for more "more than mild improvement" then prepare to splash some cash lor....

all the filter n extractor was done by me last time.. and i get a significant result..

yeap... by jz changing to performance filter and better exhaust setup will free up some power... but bear in mind, the power isnt really alot... if u are lucky (ur setup turn out to be perfect), it will give u the power something like a 1.5L car...

i've done performance filter (K&N) and exhaust setup (cap ayam)... power increase vr little... but power gain is much smoother lar (means it revs up smoothly)....
 
actually my stock engine is have a fine performance
just need to add more pick up when wanna "CUT A CAR" in highway or normal road.
 
Hi rayracer, from my humble opinion, I think u should change your stock carb. to a high performance one, like a Weber carb.

since thts the case... then for this few months... stay at home n eat roti then pray hard so tht got ppl is selling their weber carburettor... ha ha.... :_:
