Hi bros, would appreciate if could kindy help me on this. There a like 'shih shih' sound, something harsh grinding from the left front wheel of my car when i drive. Noticed it when i just roll/coast slowly but when i drive fast can't hear it. I've check the wheel area inside, there's nothing obstucting the wheel or whatsoever stuck there. What could be the problem? :banghead:

I suspect the brake pad or the piston is slightly jammed. Anyway, going to TOM'S Bangsar tmrw morning to check.

most probably ur caliper needs to service.... jammed caliper syndrom......

Problem fixed, one of the piston was jammed...so the inner braked pad makan habis till the metal plate(that created the sound). Repaired using caliper repair kit and changed new brake pad.

Aycy,

I cant really imagine what the sound is like thru ur description. But i solved a a lot of noise problems when i changed my suspension bushings to TRD. This especially if you have upgraded ur suspension. Dont need to change all bushings coz not necessary.

My remaining noise problems is click click sound (sound like the brake pad is longgar) in the rear..
and also some vibrating sound somewhere near the air cond or dashboard or maybe glove box. comes n goes though. Anyone know how to solve or what to check? Its not the servo arms coz apparently according to trial, servo arm noise sound is different.

(sorry to hijack this thread..hehe)

Yup me too, had this stupid "klunk" sound everytime move from reverse to forward. Suspect brake pad loose, so when over to trial....they confirmed loose. So decide to change the pads anyway as its time to do so, installed Endless and skim the disc and the sound dissappeared but now I've problems with excessive brake pad dust.....this normal for endless pads?

Opps, sorry if this out of topic for this thread.

Mine is not reversing but everytime when braking..when driving slow.
The loose brake pad story is famous for altezza worldwide. But the strange thing is not all cars have that problem.

Bro,
how long have you used the endless pads? Is it thicker than stock toyota pads or have some sort of adhesive? And how much are they?
I do not know abt pad dust, but i was told that these pads make loud screeching noise when braking. True?

Installed a month back.....don't know about thickness but somehow sound gone. So far only dust problem and a little slip when brake at low speed. So far heavy breaking no problems...
Endless price range around 350 - 500...depends on model.

".. a little slip during low speed braking" is it because it is a high performance pad
thus the optimum grip only in effect when operating in high temperature (heavy braking)?
thus, when low speed braking, it's a bit slipping?

I also heard something from my al. when turn it to AT..press minyak..and then the sound come out..sound like when u drive MT..and u change the gear in wrong timing.gear box problem u think?
the sound driving me crazy!!!please sumone help me out
