Amp - RM2k budget

Dear all..

Looking for an amp.. budget around RM2k .. went looking..some recommended the Alpine MRV-F545 (4 channel) and another shop recommended Directed Audio 700/6 (6 channel) ... i'm basically looking for a good amp with warm sound.. within the RM2k budget.. i'm into SQL.. any suggestions? Thanks!

maybe u wanna consider Italian amp like PHD 4075, i think their amp is from Sinfoni company but at discount price of less than rm2k for a 4 channel( 4 channels x rms 75w at 4 ohm). You wont be able to get any sinfoni amp for a few k,becos the entry level amp already cost RM12k
i m suggesting this becos i'm using one n i love it for the nice sq n price!

Yeah, good idea visiting those Ice shops as they will be able to suggest you suitable amp.
I got my AS from Sound Quest. I am sure KF also selling it.
2K can really get you some nice decent amp. If you like dynamic attacking am, can also consider Xetec. Used it before! Not bad, 4 x 110 RMS also in the 2K region.
But I personally prefer AS.....

Hi Bros,

Sorry to come in like this but I am also in the midst of looking for an amp (4ch with at least 100W @ 4 ohms). Budget wise also around 2K . I wanna look for one that can be matched with comp set DLS UR6S.

So far have been thinking of the Xetec Prestige. Some guys also recommended the Phoenix Gold (supposed to be a good match)

Any contributions or suggestions is most welcome.

Tru4.65 this one very long amp, take up too much space for small car, but if u really love it, get it, good amp too if internal untouch like upgraded chip "BB" chip!

HEy tohsan, Tru tech T4.65 where got long. You must be referring to the T4.100. The T series is the entry level offering from Tru Technology but nevertheless good amps.

dimension about 13" x 11" x 3"
the long and big one is TO3
anyway....juz to let u know....i chose a/d/s/ rather than the 4.65...and no regret.... :D
