altezza maintenance is just like the normal car maintenance/service...engine oil, oil filters
these u can get from any toyota dealers...just need the correct code listed on ur oil filters/etc
well, i once have a leaking water pump...replaced it in vision bangsar rm500 new pump, rm150 for labour(a lot of parts to take out to get the new water pump in)
1/2 cut shop? i once saw a 1/2 cut engine in jalan klang lama...very lousy n rusty condition...NO GOOD!!!!
So heres some ideas:
on maintenance: you can service anywhere lah as long as the stuffs all from toyota
on engine problems: because toyota cars have lotsa bolts n stuffs so to replace certain parts eg water pump/air con pump u need some expert ppl so no mistakes r made. for mine, labour in vision is rm150 is reasonable lah.
your 3S-GE engine is one helluva engine bro...geng!!! it should not have any problems whatsoever!! very reliable bugger. who u bought it from u should watch out n check properly. but in case some unforseen things should happen, i recommend vision lor. i see they have lotsa altezzas around. just hve to neg. for your comfortable price.
spare-parts: dun buy from 1/2 cut shops unless u see/ ok with the engine condition. the jln klang lama one is crap man. chew....
spare parts u can get from vision/wing hin...because its a altezza n not ur common car, u know tt its gonna cost u extra a bit.....
any thing else just ask away man....
