Hiya! I'm new here but I have a feeling I'm gonna be browsing here most of the time.
Anyways, I own a 97 3door Accent(in Korea) and whenever I find the time or patience, I would DIY something on my car.
So far, I have done
1.circle See-thru fuel cover(so pleased with the outcome of 2hrs of hardwork)
2.2 Blue Neon Lights
3.Eyelid-(bought a 30by100 real Carbonfibre and cut out the shape I wanted)
4.painted Dashboard(Dupli paint)
5.painted brake caliper(normal spraypaint can)
6.blue jeans covered centre console(used my old torned up jeans)
7.side mirrors(carbonfibre sheet)
8.door handle(carbonfibre sheet)
Thats just about what I have done so far. Taking it one step at a time and lots of patience. Hopefully we all would get to share the ways of how we can make D-I-Y easily.

C U all around...Sampai jumpa lagi...
ps. will be posting more photos showing DIY methods on several things but for now sit back and relax for the time being^^ hehehe :D

the fuel cover thingy seems very very interesting..

i think most of us wanna know how u did that.. especially the translucent part..
some pics and explanations on that will be wonderful.. hehe

Im just curious, how did you manage to fold the carbon fibre piece to shape (following your side mirror?? I thought its not that flexible... but hey... its NEAT!

To Fuankee:
Will be adding a link with photos and instructions on the DIY job(fuel cover)as soon as possible:)

To simefly:
Thanks! But I am sorry to say its an imitation carbon fibre ascetate. Used a hairdryer to stretch the sheet to fit the side mirror contours. Hehhehehe!
Will be putting up the neccessary information plus photos up soon.

nice carbon fibre sticker! Compare to urs, mine really doesn;t look like carbon fiber at all..

I wonder how the quality, pricing or the availability of different merchandise is in Malaysia. Anyone have any websites of accessories shop in Malaysia? Thinking of comparing them to those in Korea.

Thanks people!

To Votech
yup..... including the A pillars..all that is visible from the outside to the inside has been painted.
In the photo shown, it looks dirty due to rain...^^
Next stop is engine.(gotta get heat resistant spraypaint)
Wish me luck...

good luck to u ;) btw, i look at the paint effect to be quite interesting, also useful to cover up all pillars mod for ICE installation rather than using PVC or leather to wrap them up again. good idea dude.

haha...saolabi...at first i tot ur car is wira...but so suspicious.. i look at the headlight and steering wheel.. now confirmed already since u in korea...

To jaywat
Yup..My car is a 97 Hyundai Accent 3door. And yes, I am in Korea. Bukan kat Mlys. hehehehe!

To those whom I promised to put up explanations and photos of my DIY,
Seems so hard to stay on the comp to organise my DIY becoz sekarang banyak kerja. So harap you all boleh sabar sedikit lama lagi, and I promise to put up something soon before the end of next week.

Thanks semua!
